I recently stayed at Royal Caanaan Nairobi for three nights and had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent, surrounded by malls and restaurants, all within walking distance. The front desk staff greeted me warmly, and the managers were very attentive. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and quiet, with a strong emphasis on security, which made me feel very safe. Although I didn’t have the chance to try the breakfast or visit the spa and pool, I was impressed by the amenities. One small downside was the presence of alcohol in the room, which might not be suitable for everyone, but the staff was very accommodating and removed it promptly. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel!.

The facilities are impressively modern one standout feature was the automatic door sign system for "Clean" or "Do Not Disturb," which was both convenient and thoughtful. This is a nice location, away from the areas that riot when there is political unrest. The hotel is lovely. The staff is friendly, and there is a nice mall with food within a block or so if you get tired of hotel food. The hotel food is also good, but I like to get out and look around.

The corridors smelt like cigarettes. I was given a box of a room with 2 ridiculous sized chairs that were completely out of place for such a small room. AC was just air and no chill. Changed to a bigger room, also an odd space with a small window and an enormous blank wall that should’ve been a window . Won’t be back.

It was my 3rd stay at Royal tulip and unfortunately with same bad experience with a basic issue which is the shower : cold and leaking, when i did the check-in at 10pm i kindly asked the front desk agent to give me a room without shower problem, and this is what he confirmed to me, but at my surprise: cold water & leaking shower, they couldn't do anything that night and morning time i took a cold shower too, and just two hours before my check-out they suggested to me another room which doesn't make sense.
