Everyone was so friendly at the Hilton Fiji Beach Resort and Spa. This resort is very family friendly and seems to have a lot of activities at different times for the children.
So it is not a quiet resort. The rooms at the resort could use some updating but it wasn't terrible. We had a kitchenette in our room with a separate sitting area which was nice. The water in both the adult pool and the main pool was quite cold. I would have liked it just a bit warmer as it was usually a shock getting in every time. The resort is very long. Our room was in the 1400s (I believe) and it was a good 10-15 minute walk to the main pool. The Bula express does go by, but it was usually driving in the opposite direction that we were headed. The ocean was wonderful and so warm but definitely not that beautiful clear blue water. The resort does not offer any beach chairs near the ocean, and you had to walk through a lot of grass before you even reached the sand. It would have been nice if the resort provided some beach chairs near the water. We tried 2 of their restaurants for lunch and dinner. Both were decent but very expensive. The resort is also close to Port Denarau where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. The Bulu Bus can take you there for a fee and it runs every 15 minutes. Overall, great resort and I would stay there again.
