Only stayed one night but one of the highlights of our holiday. The area around the hotel was beautiful, the room was clean and it was very quiet. Staff were friendly and the breakfast included for such a cheap rate was a great bonus!!! Really impressed with the value for money here

The guesthouse was located in a beautiful countryside area just a couple of miles off the main road from Myvatn. The staff was friendly, and we liked that they had postcards, stamps, and some locally made Icelandic wool sweaters for purchase. Our room was spacious and clean, and we appreciated its private bathroom. We visited the restaurant for some evening wine to relax after a day of travel, and the breakfast was tasty and convenient before we headed out to continue our adventure.

This was a lovely guest house in a beautiful setting. The meal we had for dinner was outstanding as well. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The driveway was long and unpaved, but I was able to take it slowly without any problems.

Our stay was very nice, and while it was only one night, it was the perfect stop for my girlfriend and I to stay on our trip. Be aware that the picture on the listing is not the same as the room that we received though. We thought it would be one of the personal, detached cottages (as in the picture), but it was a room in the long buildings where there are multiple other rooms. It was still private enough with our own bathroom though, so it was still a comfortable stay.
