Headline: Unbeatable Views & Pet-Friendly, but Bring Your Cleaning Supplies!Rating: 7/10We enjoyed our week-long stay, but only because we came prepared. If you don’t mind some "DIY" prep, the location is worth it.The Highlights:The views are unbeatable, and the pet-friendly policy is a huge plus. The kitchen is cozy, featuring a fantastic modern oven that doubles as an air fryer. The maintenance and general store staff are lovely, and the grounds/pool are cleaned daily. It’s a scenic 1.7-mile walk to the boardwalk.The Realities:While the bathroom and oven were clean, the rest needed work. The floors, walls, and baseboards were filthy, and we found significant pet hair on the floors and bedding. Amenities are bare-bones: only two towels provided, no kitchen linens/sponges, and the dish soap was actually for a dishwasher. The AC is extremely loud, and our unit lacked a kitchen table, forcing me to use the coffee table as a makeshift desk. Note: There is a 70 pet fee NOT disclosed during booking.Pro-Tips:Bring a small vacuum (essential for sand/hair), your own linens/pillows, extra towels/sponges, and cleaning supplies. I spent two hours deep-cleaning upon arrival to feel comfortable.Verdict: I wouldn’t recommend this for a short weekend, but for a week-long stay, I’d return now that I know exactly how to pack
