The best aspect of this hotel is its relatively close location (about 8 minute drive, or 1 train stop) to the central district and place, while having a good price for spacious rooms. Everything in our room was very clean and comfortable, and there was an excellent kitchen. No noise problems. Staff was friendly, though sometimes communication in English was a little rough. Main reasons for not the top rating are 1) elevator had an issue such that it could not stop at our floor (the 5th), so we had to go up or down stairs to 4th or 6th floor to get it, and 2) it seems to be in the Middle Eastern / North African Muslim part of town such that restaurants and shops may not be what you're expecting, and the area is bit rundown. It was fine for us though, as we just used it as a base to get to the nearby central area. We were able to get cheap street parking for our car, found some inexpensive luggage in a local shop. and 2 blocks away was both the train station and a good restaurant with German and Italian food.

Apartment was great for our family of five. Clean and warm and plenty of space , very near the train station hauptbahnhof and within walking distance of all tourist areas and Christmas markets. The area around the hotel did not feel safe while walking at night but otherwise it was good.

Noisy, crowded, not restful

I honestly would not stay here again or recommend it to anybody. It was in a very busy part of town - lots of people and businesses along the streets. Loud people were out late on weeknights into 2-3am. Coming from international, that does not help trying to overcome jet lag.

Great Oktoberfest option

Friendly and comfortable stay in Munich during Oktoberfest. The hotel is walking distance to the fest, and the front desk staff were always so kind and helpful. The rooms do get quite loud at night due to their proximity to the train station— lots of people and vehicles outside making noise. But just bring some earplugs, and you’ll be fine. :)

Location great, near train station and walkable to the main Munich sites. Front desk staff were excellent. Hotel allowed us to check in early which was greatly appreciated after our overnight flight from Canada.

Excellent hotel/suite accommodations in central Munich - 10 minutes from central train station. Comfortable suite rooms with kitchenette and friendly front desk staff. We have stayed here many times and have always felt safe during daylight hours. We will stay there again next time we visit Munich.

Staff were great at the hotel. However, there was no drain plug in bath so we were unable to use the bath as a bath. Toilet flushing not the best. The sofa bed was terribled, bowed on the middle. The single beds were the same. My son daughter and my cousin all had difficulty sleeping and did not get food rest at night because of these. My cousin and my son back hurt after the first two days so I had to give my son ans my cousin our bed. For the price we paid we would have expected better furniture in the room.

Perfect location for a family of 5 traveling to Munich - easy access to the main train station, nice to have so much room kitchen, good amenities. Only drawback was the noise at night - we were there during a very warm week, and needed to sleep with the windows open - lot of sirens. Even with that, would definitely stay there again and recommend to others!

Busy neighbourhood with a lot of noise, but the sound was totally blocked out when the windows were closed. Great location, walking distance to most tourist destinations, multiple grocery stores, the main train station, and many nice restaurants. Would stay here again!

The staff were great but the condition of the room was only so so. We were in 5 with our kids sleeping on the pull out sofa and an extra bed they brought in. The extra bed collapsed tit he floor when someone sat on it and we realized it was broken in a number of places. We asked to replace it and that was done right away fortunately but it should have never been put in a guest room. The pull out couch bed also was on the verge of the mattress breaking through the frame of the bed. Last the ceiling fan is connected to the light so we had to sleep with no ceiling fan. If it were much hotter it would have been unbearable.

This hotel was a gem in the area. Clean! Big and open. 5 of us and we had more than enough space! The desk clerc was very kind and very helpful. Had trouble learning the key, and she came right up to the room to show us how to use it. There is also a very nice cafe/coffee shop right next door-1min walk drom hotel. The train station is a 7-10min walk from the hotel-very convenient! I am not as used to big cities, but I did not care for the city/area. It was too chaotic, and people just hanging around, watching you get in and out of the car.
