Such a lovely concept but mixed execution. The cabins are lovely, quiet, and nicely appointed. I wish there were common spaces to match … you know, like a place to hang out with morning coffee or sit outside for a happy hour where you get to know other guests. The common spaces are very limited … essentially reception and a small rustic restaurant. No liquor license (beer and wine only).
Our first night we ordered dinner at about 615 and by 730 we had no food and the waiter told us he wasn’t sure of an ETA … if seemed like there was no plan to make it right and it all felt very odd, frankly. Given that we had a permit to hike Angel’s Landing the next day, leaving without any dinner but that’s what ultimately happened.
So I need to say that our restaurant experience really tainted my view of ZMR.
