Beautiful charming hotel

We had a lovely stay at Fort Condé Inn—charming, peaceful, and full of historic character. The room was beautiful and clean, with thoughtful touches throughout. We especially loved how close Bistro Saint Emanuel was—we walked to dinner and had the best meal and customer service! Breakfast was also amazing. Can’t wait to come back for a longer stay!

Nice boutique hotel. It was a rest stop for me so i only stayed for a few hours. The water in the kitchenette sink didn't work was the only issue noted. I would have had the friendly staff address it had i been there longer. Over a nice place off the beating path. Easily walkable to dining options which are numerous.

This place is amazing! You can really tell a lot of love was poured in to the details. We stayed in the Margaret last night and it was spectacular. We almost canceled because the photos online do not match up consecutively with Expedia. Do not be discouraged from some of the images because it's a beautiful room. I will also add that the towels and beds are heaven 👏

Love Fort Conde Inn

My husband and I absolutely love Fort Conde Inn. The helpfulness and friendliness of the staff cannot be beat. I love the quietness of the inn. Management doesn’t take short cuts on quality when it comes to details like bedding and towels. Our bed was super comfortable, and we loved the small kitchenette in our room. Our stay was a tremendous value with the hot, made-to-order breakfast at the Bistro each morning included. We hope to return to Mobile and the inn very soon!

Historically wonderful

This was our second time at Fort Conde Inn. We stayed several years ago and loved it. The property consists of historic houses and cottages in a nice part of town. It has grown since we first stayed several years ago, but still has that wonderful, boutique feel. The rooms are wonderfully quaint but well equipped. The individual structures are connected by stone walkways in a neighborhood setting. The location is ideal, downtown and next to the cruise port. Our only minor complaint is the breakfast wasn't as good as it was our first time. Instead of being served on site as it was before, it is in an unattached restaurant across the street, and offers only basic breakfast fare of eggs, bacon, etc. All in all, a wonderful experience. We will definitely stay again when in the Mobile area.

Boutique hotel- here's some info

First off- nothing negative about the hotel but just wanted to clarify-- this is a boutique hotel. It is several buildings along a street. The rooms are all individualized. All of the buildings are multiple floors and the elevator (at least in our building) did not go to the top which required us to climb the final flight with our suitcases. The elevator was scary and did not work on our last day so we had to carry our suitcases down two flights of stairs. In our room, the furniture was sparse. A bed, bedside tables, dresser, and one chair. There was room for more. The "free" breakfast is $3 for a service fee. On Saturday we were chided as we did not have a "reservation" (we were unaware that we needed one) and had to sit at the bar. Breakfast is good though. There is only one ice machine in the main house. On the street parking is free. Overall positive but we were unaware of some of this information before we booked so I thought I would share.

A great experience! We loved the historical neighborhood. The room was great with a very comfortable bed. One tip: if you don’t do stairs be sure and get a downstairs room. The stairs can be a challenge with heavy suitcases. The breakfast was delicious and served in a cute bistro across the street. At night the streets are lit with gas lights. So pretty!

This is a quaint B&B and the host, Lily was very pleasant and helpful. Nice stopover to our trip to NOLA. Stayed in David in main house, quiet and peaceful sleeping. We enjoyed walking to restaurant and coffee shops too! As an older couple, would like to add it would be nice to catch cruise ship from as well.

Disliked: Amenities
I have stayed here before and it was great. However i spent a weekend here and was given a room that was extremely close to the interstate and it was very loud all night and day. Also the room was across the street from main house and there is no fridge or microwave so no ability to have food there over the 3 days. The ice machine was across the street in main housr that is locked at night. I went to ipen window shades to ket in some light but the amount of dust was unreal so i had to close them back there are 4 windows with tons of dust. Overall the room was ok however i feel like wirh a 3 day stay they should have at least given me a room where i could keep some food cold or at least microwave something.
