Room had a vinyl floor that was so sticky when out of the shower and dried off it felt like walking on shipping tape. There was almost no water pressure making it almost impossible to rinse the shampoo out of your hair or rinse your arm pits. Plumbing fixtures were almost impossible to turn on or adjust the temperature because they were so corroded. The rooms don't get any daily service. So no fresh towels, no made bed and we were left one 1 ounce shower gel squeeze bottle for both of us. Not each! The free Breakfast is pathetic. No sweet rolls, no muffins or bagels just sliced bread and a toaster. The butter was a stick of butter laying out on a plate with flys sitting on it with a plastic small knife for cutting it. Two pump coffee thermal containers, both with the same caffeinated coffee and no decaf that at best was just warm. They did have waffle mix however. The orange juice was in a pour bottle container just like you buy for your house at the grocery store. I had reservations for 5 nights at a cost of $450. After two nights we had enough. I go to check out and come to find out they had already charged my CC for the full stay of 5 nights. Which is unusual as you are usually charged at check out. So no one is there that can credit my CC. I'm told only the GM can issue credits and she won't be in until 9 AM. So we wait until 9:30 AM. No GM so we leave. I call back and was told my CC was credited and I was emailed my receipt. I was charged $250 for 2 nights.

Stains on the carpet. I requested a non pet room, the hotel put us in a pet room, in a daylight basement room. Breakfast was poor. The new owners got rid of the cheese omelets, no big tex sweet rolls. No shops or restraunts easy to get to from the northside of busy Brooks St/hwy 93. There is an extended stay motel behind the property with contractor equipment parked there. New owners shouldn't degrade an already poor property and location with being frugal with breakfast selections and stained carpets.

The hotel was very dated and the room smelt as if it used to be a smokers room and didn't really try to do much to make it smell clean. Staff was friendly and the bed was comfortable however the reminiscent odor reminded me more of a bowling alley than hotel.

The important things are good: hot water, good shower water pressure, thick bath towels, clean. Comfortable bed/mattress. Easy check-in. Hall and stair carpet and bedroom carpet needs to be replaced. Flower pots outside would add to the street appeal.

Needs a remodel

The price and location are really decent. We usually stay at super 8 hotels because they are middle of the road and you usually know what you are going to get. This one is in desperate need of a remodel. It was clean but everything is starting to fall apart. The bathroom fan cover was falling off, the shower curtain was falling down, the smoke alarms were beeping occasionally. Some lights were burned out. Older furniture and fixtures were fine but dated. Bed was typical of super 8 comfort.

Check In was easy. The front desk lady was friendly and fast. The room smelled of bleach which I was ok with because it means it got cleaned! The lamps in the room were unplugged which I found odd. Took a little bit to figure that out. The people staying in the back property were a little seedy, but didnt have any problems with them.

The checkin process was inconvenient. I completed the online checknin process which stated i would just need to go to the office and pick up the key to the room. The lady that was at the desk was rude and i had to complete the check in process again.

The staff was awesome . Ralph was awesome and so was our housekeeper she was kind as well. I have a service animal and they didn't ask for my ppw , which was really nice cause I don't like to advertise I have one. Hot showers was nice .
