From the welcoming blood stain that adorned the floor of our hotel room entrance, to the the confetti of broken glass left around our room, it certainly screamed welcome to Mishawaka Indiana. Yuck.

First- i end every evening with hot tea. They only had Earl Gray. Caffeine and I don't like Earl Gray. The desk clerk was very dismissive about that being all they stocked and no herbal teas. Second- the smell in the bathroom was muldew and the tib was filthy. Also. A noisy hallway of closing doors all night. And the room was too hot with no way too cool it off.

Staff was amazing! Room had a funky smell. First room smell was horrid, with Odor eating machine still in the room. Staff was so kind and switched rooms immediately. Room has been updated- paint, maybe new linens and décore, but still could use attention. Ask for hair dryer as they are not in room. One end of the hotel smelled of smoke really bad. Overall, stay fine for price point.

We were very pleased with our stay there except for the breakfast. We booked the presidential suite. It was in great shape and very spacious. Our only complaint would be that there was loud music playing in the lobby until 11:30 at least and it could be heard from our room. Otherwise the room was great. We'd definitely book it again. The breakfast was not that great. The bagels were hard as rocks and not edible and there was no spray for the waffle makers so it was difficult to get the waffles out when cooked. Additionally only 2 of the slots for the toaster worked. Would this stop us from staying there again? No. The staff at check in and checkout were very nice and super sweet. We are looking at staying there again in the future.
