This is also an excellent location for exploring the West Lakes including Wast Water. This is also a great starting location for exploring nearby Fells, including Scafell Pike. The charming South Lakeland Town of Broughton-in-Furness is approx. 7.5 miles away, and beyond via the A593 you can take a scenic journey up to Coniston Water.
