We had a great stay here with our family and kids! The host was incredibly helpful with suggestions of places to go and accommodations for the babies! We loved the pool and the outdoor space. It was perfect for everyone hanging out and spending time together.

Edward is a great host and keeps you informed. His house is perfect for a family event or vacation. I loved floating in the heated pool while the guys were golfing. Perfect location close to Newport where our events were held. Edward’s house has a lovely dining room with china and his coffee bar is to die for!! We had a great time, thanks Edward!!

Quiet residential home

Cute, Quaint Stay with A Responsive Owner

Stayed here for President’s Day weekend with family and friends. The 11 of us were very comfortable and appreciated the responsiveness of the owner to answer questions and address our needs. We will definitely return during the warmer months when the pool is open to take advantage of that feature of the property, along with the inviting backyard and lounge area. Thanks

Spacious yet cozy

I stayed at this property during a late Fall work trip to Newport. I didn’t get to enjoy the pool but I can see how amazing it would be to stay here in the summer. Everything was just as expected. Getting in was super easy. Edward even mailed a package back to me that arrived after my departure. Very fast communication. I would love to try to snag this gem for Newport Folk Fest.

Perfect Location

This house was exactly as described and the perfect location. We were able to relax and cook here and were able to use this as home base for trips all around the area. If you’re going to the Navy base, this house is only 5 minutes away. We would stay here again. The hosts even provided great tips on food and activities in the area!

Great family home to gather a large group

This family home had everything you could need to relax. Stocked kitchen, laundry, and 2.5 baths made our stay easy with ten guests. The pool and large backyard was an added bonus. We rented due to the proximity to base. We would return.

Clean, comfortable, convenient

Special touches like soaps, makeup wipes and a great variety of coffee options made our stay just that much more comfortable. We've stayed in many places around the world and these are things we haven't really seen elsewhere. The beds were comfortable, the pool was wonderful. We enjoyed our stay . Edward was great to communicate with. Lots of amenities in the house . Beds very comfortable. Pool and back yard beautiful . Grill rusty so hesitant to cook on it. Inside, the main level could use some updating and paint / makes the Difference between a 5 star and 4 star .

Perfect Vacation Home for Family

Our memorable week spent at Edward's home was perfect for our 7 adult family members and two toddlers. The home was clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well supplied. The bedrooms were a good size and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We had a ball in the ground pool. It's location was close to everything. Edward was a responsive host. Great stay

Very close to Newport with an in ground pool, good sized backyard and very attentive host. Probably the most well stocked vacation rental I’ve been to(Nespresso!) Two minute drive to Aldi and a six or seven drive to stop and shop as well. Cozy interior with large flat screens in every room as well as fire sticks on each of them. Would stay again!

So many amenities!

We had a great time at Chiquita Casita! There were 10 adults and we fit very comfortably! The pool was amazing, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the location is so easy to drive or uber to Newport!

Amazing home and host!

We stayed in this home for Salve Regina’s graduation weekend. The home was the perfect space for our family 7. The was immaculate and the outdoor space was an added bonus! The home is fully stocked beyond my expectations! The location was perfect to be close enough to the university and all Newport offers while being far enough for quiet. Family getaway

We had a great stay here. The home was perfect and comfortable. We were in town to meet our new granddaughter and needed a space that could accommodate my mom, my daughter and grandson, my husband and I. This was the place!! We had room for more! Can’t wait to come back and use the pool!!! Also want to check out more of the restaurants that were recommended. This was one of the best places we’ve stayed, thank you!!!

Perfect in Every Way

We travelled to Newport for our son's graduation from Navy OCS. My wife and I, my parents, my wife's parents, and our son's girlfriend all stayed at Chiquita Casita. Our party were all adults, but the home would be great for families with kids as well. The house was perfect and exactly as described. The home was neat as a pin, and the hosts had it well stocked. The coffee and espresso machines were very much appreciated. The toiletries were a nice unexpected touch. Edward and Claire were extremely responsive and the communication was spot on. The pool was amazing even in October. The location was just what we needed due to its proximity to the Naval Base, sight seeing, shopping, and entertainment. This was our first time in Newport, and we look forward to going back for a longer stay. When we do, Chiquita Casita will be top on the list of places to stay.

Every you need was supplied

This was the most organized stay we had at any Vrbo rental. From the communications from our host to our stay was enjoyable. The host thought about how to make our stay easier starting off with a personalized welcome sign to a booklet of local places to eat. The host thought about how to make our stay more comfortable.
