Day clerk was short,however Kandi, the birthday clerk was warm and and inviting. Need new pillows and mattresses. If breakfast is at six the serving ware should be there. No nothing to take the waffles off the iron with but plastic. Eggs and sausage used the same tongs. No napkins, but hidden away was paper towels. Everything was sparce. Either out of or not out. Signed out online for 11:00 but was locked out of the room at 10:30, when I was trying to get stuff packed and back in the car. Expecting better by Windham.

We have stayed there before and it was a basic [and satisfactory stay ] and most economical. This time was a bit disappointing - we first checked in and, when we went to our room, there was a loud speaking couple in the next room [not yelling ]. I asked for a change of rooms, and the parking lot was nearly emply as we had checked in earlier than most others. I was told we could not be moved. I pressed gently, knowing there were so many other available rooms, but I was told that they were full this evening, though others had not arrived. The blow dryer did not work, and the faucet had a leak. I also felt that the door to the bathroom needed a good wipe-down. This am, they were out of cream for coffee as well as milk for the cereal. Again, these things were an exception in our stays there and, to be fair, I was called yesterday and offered a different room, but we were checking out early this a.m and so we chose not to pack up at that time.

There were multiple bugs in our room, in the hallways, and in the entrance way into the lobby. We immediately called the front desk. She sent up an employee who flushed the bug in the toliet. The bathroom door wouldn't close or lock. The AC/heating unit was making a loud rattling sound. We couldn't stay in a bug infested hotel. We asked for a refund. She refused to credit our three rooms. She only credited one room. When I went back up to my room she had already deactivated our keys. When I inquired at the front desk. I was told that they wouldn't reactivate our keys. We called the police and filed an incident report. We advised our financial institutions to please decline our room charges. The hotel was dirty and in poor condition. There were stains on the rugs and chipped paint on walls. In one of our three rooms the refrigerator wasn't working. They brought up another refrigerator. We ended up driving back home. We did not stay at any hotel. Our trip was ruined.
