We had THREE different rooms, the first smelled horribly of cigarette smoke. The second one had no hot water and then a ceiling leak in the bathroom. The third had a very dirty moldy bathroom and then NO water at all for several hours. The day we checked out we finally had hot water.

The rooms were dirty smelled bad nothing like the pictures we were suppose to get a room with a view when we got there they gave us a handicap room bed sheets had hair from previous guests flies all over the room dust everywhere and was charged an extra $45 fee at the hotel don’t know for what please do not book this hotel not even for free. The coffee machine had mold on the inside, it was absolutely disgusting. Absolutely don’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

It was awesome to be so close to the beach and all the food. And only a 15 minute drive from downtown miami, the location could not be any better for exploring south beach and miami, thanks for the clean awesome room!

This property was very dirty , it’s smelled like pee, the room was very dirty. The pictures on the website were totally different from actual being there. I was supposed to be oceanfront well let’s just say it definitely wasn’t. The elevator has bad electrical issues and ppl were scared to get on it. I absolutely hated this hotel, I will never book again

The staff does not speak English. It was really hard to get anything from them. The Beacon doesn't have anything they are listed to have. There is not even a microwave on primosises. Only thing good about the hotel was the chairs for the beach. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

The elevator sounded as though it was going to break. It was very loud. I’ve almost fell twice in the middle of the night, going to the bathroom because of the dripping air conditioning unit and had to move rooms in the middle of our stay.

The Beacon was a very convenient hotel. Everything was walkable. The room was comfortable in terms of air conditioning and mattress ok. but the room was not cleaned properly and had us feeling pretty disgusted. There was a blood smudge on tile in bathroom and nasal mucus on walls scattered throughout room. We asked to speak to management and told that manager was not available and never received a call about the complaint left at front desk. We asked to he moved to another room and We were told sorry but that was the room you chose as to say you are stuck with it. The fact that we booked a handicapped room should not make it acceptable to have substandard service such as lack of cleanliness. Needless to say we were disappointed and will not be returning to the Beacon. We frequently book through Expedia for our trips and have never had a bad experience. Hopefully this will be the last bad one.
