1. the resort fee 105$ was NOT mentioned when I booked.
2. the location is FAR away from the check in hotel and very far from the South beach, Uber costed 90$ per day to get there and back
3. the building is old, cold, uncomfortable, with freezing floors and a cold glass kitchen table
4. the fridge was leaking
5. they put the queen and king beds into a relatively small room so the door was not opening fully! there was no way for the person whose bed was at the entrance to approach it.
6. I hurt my legs multiple times with the ledge of the bed- the corners are prominent and hard!
7. the bathtub was in poor condition, painted carelessly to cover the uneven surface and tile.
8. the microwave handle was cracked, about to fall apart
9. the TV was not working in the hall; the TV in the bedroom was hard to navigate (especially for my father, an elderly man). they was no instructions on how to use the 2 remotes.
10. the “resort” fee was supposed to be for the use of swimming pool BUT it was far from our hotel! different address! And the promised “free drinks” 5-6pm were VERY far, an uber to this hotel cost 40$.
11. The check-in staff was rude to other customers
12.the picture on the Expedia was NOTHING like reality
13. there were old blood stains on our blankets! disgusting
14. no cutting knife in the kitchen
15. strong smell of nicotine/smoke everywhere
My impression: disrespect to clients: they use shabby old smoked buildings without renovation and basic broken amenities.
