Beautiful property with a lovely view of the lake. The cabin was clean, cozy and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. I was impressed with how well appointed the kitchen was. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept very well. Would happily stay again if we are ever in the area..

Exactly As advertised

Birch haven was a great place and would highly recommend to anyone looking to be in seclusion. Very private, clean and plenty of room.

Great time at Spider Lake!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were only able to be there for a weekend, but had a great time! The cabin was perfect for our crew to use as a base for snowmobiling and very comfortable to relax in the evenings. The only thing that would make it better would be to have a trail spur closer to the cabin.

Fantastic home in the Northwoods. Very clean and all you need for a get away! Fully stocked kitchen with utensils and all cooking needs. Beds and bed rooms are awesome.

Awesome Vacation

The property was in a quiet location with no neighbors. This was awesome because we could only hear wildlife. I loved the lichen with all the pull out drawers and they had everything you would ever need. My girls loved the lift area because they had their own space but could still hear everything going on.

Reviewer Comments: Beautiful cabin with a northwoods decor.We had a wonderful stay in a spotless home with a nice yard, Weber grill, nice lake view and fishing dock. We would've liked a later checkout time. 9am is too early! How about 10am? We plan to come back next year!

Overall well pleased. Pretty quick response when we had a bat flying around in the home. Not all amenities listed that would have been nice to know about. Little frustrated with fact shower door in master bath did not work poorly and we gave up using it the last couple days. Few other maintenance issues. Enjoyed privacy, was clean, etc.

We had a great time at the Birch Haven log cabin despite the colder August weather! The cabin was stocked with any cooking utensil you could ever need and we appreciated hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher detergent being provided! The twin beds in the loft were not comfortable, so that was our only complaint. Unfortunately, my sons who are avid fisherman didn't get a single bite from the dock or out on the lake in the row boat. But that's why they call it fishing and not catching!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: With some TLC this place has potential. The bedding and cleanliness were disappointing, with some of us choosing to sleep in full clothes. The furniture is fairly worn out and some the sheets had spots, no spare sheets were available. The dishes/cookware was a plus. Management did not respond to my email about the properties condition but there were informative emails with entrance details prior to arrival.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location. The cabin was spacious and had all the kitchen utensils needed. Every morning we had just a glorious view of the lake. I only wish they had most of the lights on a few major switches rather than having to turn on all the separate light fixtures. A very minor issue. Kitchen lights are tricky to find/ partially on the wallpapered wall behind the fridge and near the bakers rack- FYI. It does list that on the fridge, but I wasn't able to see it due to arriving in the evening and too dark in the kitchen to see it. Maybe a tent card on the island stating that? Otherwise a fantastic place that I would happily return to again. Thank you to the owners, staff and cleaning crew for a lovely stay.
