Well everything was good until this morning we left the brand new zipper led sweat jacket in the closet by mistake and called to get it but they claimed there wasn’t anything in there. We went back in person this evening before returning home out of state and they said they didn’t find anything so either they didn’t look on the top shelf of the closet or they’re lying and the cleaning crew wanted it worse. Just bought it last night at Walmart in Marion, IL. Before going to the hotel. It’s upsetting that I lost a $20.00 jacket when it should have been placed in a secure area for us later. We contacted the hotel twice now with the first time being just a short time after checking out. I hope they don’t try to charge me for something else. This upsets me that they did this. It’s just the idea of $20.00 is a lot to some of us. ☹️

The night clerk was pleasant and dealt with the situation as best as she could. We walked into lobby, smelt faintly of Marijuana. Went upstairs to our room and the hall was a heavier smell. The pool was ice cold. Supposed to be heated. She said it was heated but it said a very low temperature. I would put it at about 67. I got the hotel room specifically to swim in a pool

The room was fair. Bathroom could use a deep clean. Knobs coming off of cabinet in bar area. Cabinet leading to fridge was dirty. Beds were very comfy and area around felt safe. Several restaurants in the block. Breakfast was scarce of protein but had more options than most places in this price range.

The bed was comfortable, but the chairs had layers of dust and noticeable stains on the cushions. The carpet looked new. The bathroom appeared newly refreshed but there was calk/grout all over the floor. I think details should not be overlooked and rooms need a good detailing on a routine basis. Also, the clock had not been turned back so the room may have not been occupied for at least a month
