If you’re passing through from Abilene and Lubbock you know it’s a long stretch. Stopping in Post is easy and very easy access to this property.

I enjoyed having the space to myself and that I could do what I wanted when I wanted to do it. If there had been a chair or other place of outside furniture on the front porch so I could have had my morning coffee out there that would have been a nice touch. I wasn't concerned with the no shower situation but a review of how that would beore beneficial to guests might be a good idea in the future.

Best VRBO in Post Texas

My wife and I absolutely love Rusty’s Cabin. I always look forward to coming back here. On this trip, we hosted numerous class mates from my 40th High School Reunion. They all came to “Rusty’s Cabin” for breakfast. Before we knew it, we had extended breakfast in the backyard area which is amazing until 3:00 P.M. Absolutely one of our favorites and we stay at VRBOS all over the world. Going to Post? This is the place.

Cute and comfy

For a tiny cottage, it still feels very spacious. The backyard area was done very well, and our dogs loved having a little space for themselves. The bed was big and comfy, and the chairs and couch were perfect for lounging. The only down side is that there was no shower and we were asked not to use shampoo or bubbles in the nice jacuzzi tub. We only stayed one night, so not being able to wash my hair was fine, but if we had stayed longer I would have had to wash my hair in the sink.

Great Property

This super cute and cozy little house was perfect for my 2 night stay. I appreciated all of the little special touches like battery operated candles by the giant bathtub (no shower), steps beside the huge king bed, and the visitor guide left for me. Host communication was beyond amazing. Do yourself a favor and bring a facemask and bathbomb to enjoy the amazing bath!

Rusty’s Cozy Cottage

The best thing about this cozy cottage is the big inviting jacuzzi bathtub in the bathroom. It was wonderful and so relaxing after driving hours on the road. The cottage is pet-friendly and it was nice to have the enclosed, fenced yard for the safety of our 2 little dogs. We will be staying here again. Thank you!

Best ever One Night Stop Over

Stopped for a 1-night layover on our way back home from Galveston, TX. Theresa was super easy to work with and answered our questions promptly. The property itself was clean, and cozy. The bed was amazingly comfortable. We travel with our small dogs, and we're always concerned about the backyard safety. No need to worry! The backyard is fully enclosed and clean as well.
