Staff was friendly, disappointed our 2500 truck could not use valet but we were able to self park without issue. Hotel is in a great location walking distance to most things downtown. Room and bathroom were pretty small but had a nice view of the river. I Called front desk about large wet spot in the corner of the room, no one ever came to check it out. The morning we left I sat down on the couch to book our next stop, there appeared to be toenail clippings along the inside frame of the table. I was too grossed out to inspect further. We will probably try a different hotel next time.

Room was clean, but could be better decorated. Door to the balcony did not seal hen closed, so it was cold and loud in the room. Plenty of space in the suite. Nice surprise to have the 2 bathrooms, one being a half bath.

the heat didnt work there were n blankets in the room the food was terrible we had salmon and it was undercooked, the garlic mashed potatoes had no garlic taste they were emersed in pepper and cold the aspargus was undercooked and there was too much garnish on all of it . it looked pretty but tasted awful!

Staff was very courteous even during such busy time, the room exceeded our expectations, the amenities were awesome with the refrigerator and 2 bathrooms it was a great stay.

The room was amazing! We stayed on New Yeats Eve, and the hotel had a party complete with a balloon drop and live band. The drinks are reasonably priced and made well.

We love staying at the Galt house for the views, large rooms, and close proximity to events down town. However, I have felt for a while now that the staff could use some retraining. No one ever seems particularly friendly. We like to stay in the main tower, I always specify this when booking, and at check in this last stay the Gentleman checking us in started giving me instructions about how to get across to the other tower. I emphasized that my booking specified that I would be in the main tower and he retorted "well, its a better room". I said no thats ok, we always book this tower and thats our preference. He acted irritated. I can't recall a check in experience in my many years of staying at the galt house (literally since high school) where I felt welcomed by the staff if I'm being honest. The breakfast is also INSANELY overpriced and the waitstaff there couldn't care less about you. 2 breakfast buffets will run you over 50$ and is no better than a lot of free breakfasts at other hotels (embassy suites, hampton inn, etc). Overall we love this hotel but it's far from perfect.
