Everything was walking distance. Me and my woman decided to walk to the funnel house from the hotel best decision ever! And we found a lime scooter and rode back to the hotel on it. The place was clean with a lot of towels, but only one toilet paper. What’s up with that?

We stayed in the 2-bedroom suite. The unit has a full kitchen but dishwasher did not work. The refrigerator has an ice machine but it was not connected. The clothes dryer did not work which was a bummer since I washed clothes while there. The electrical plugs in master bathroom did not work. The unit is spacious and quiet. We walked to Catalina Ferry and Ocean of The Pacific. There is Vons nearby and pizza near hotel was good.

The hotel was perfect if you wanted a quaint stay within walking distrance to attractions near the water. Having a small kitchen was helpful and there is a Von's close by for groceries. I would say the only negative was the deposit. I was having difficulty getting the despoit taken care of and I reached out to the host and didn't receive a response. Fortunately the issue resolved on its own and I was able to check-in but it was a little nerve-racking since I was in transit when I was waiting for a response.

I didn't know from listing that parking will cost extra. And for $40? Vale in Laguna Beach is only $30. It's actually $44 here because they charge $4 for convenience fee while that's the only way to pay anyway since there's nobody on site. When I get there, gate is closed a I have no codes sent to me yet. I had to pay for meter street parking while figuring out how to self check in and get the codes. I called multiple times went straight to voicemail, no call back. After I purchased the parking it still didn't process right away, it took like 15 minutes. This whole staycation was frustrated. Not recommending.
