Perfect Hollywood hills getaway! We felt like movie stars! Beautiful comfortable house, amazing pool and view! My kids loved pool and ping pong table. We didn't want to leave los angeles. It was so special and so beautiful!

We had a wonderful week at this property with our family. The house was very clean, well located—close to groceries, restaurants, and not far from LA’s main attractions. The host was very friendly, with easy communication and quick responses. The only minor remark is that the house could use a few small fixes, but overall, it was a great stay!

Very cool house! Yes a little dated but it’s great. Could do with some more pots/pans and maybe a new grill. Would be great if there was some basics there too so we didn’t have to purchase every single thing we needed (foil, cling wrap, no dish washing pods, just an extra roll of toilet paper) but other than that it was really cool!

Cool home with wonderful view and pool

My family enjoyed relaxing here. The setting is lovely with a great view and pool. The living room was comfortable for watching movies and hanging out. Host was very communicative and the property was clean and as it appears in photos.

Great property, older but very clean, spacious and nicely furnished. Beds were really comfortable. Elevated position with nice views, very private and excellent location. It's a very quiet neighbourhood and the neighbors are very strict about quiet hours. It was perfect for our family. Hosts were very responsive and helpful.

Studio City oasis

Thank you for a wonderful stay! We enjoyed the open layout and easy access to outdoors / pool. Location was great for daily hikes up the hill at the nearby park, just 1.4 miles away. We loved the access to daily great challenging hill walks! Ventura blvd offers some great sushi, boutiques and coffee houses. Don’t miss: Yala coffee, Flask for cocktail fixings or wine for the house or Granville for clean fish or a satisfying burger. I loved the house and the area! Host was communicative and helpful.

Summer vacation

Our five teenagers have always wanted to visit California. We wanted a safe place with all the amenities. This home has a wonderful view. Nice pool and hot tub. Rooms were very large and the house was very comfortable with seven of us Kitchen and bathrooms need some updating. Ping pong table in the garage was a Huge Hit for our ping pong family tournamanr.

Did not look like the picture shown the pool needs painting all around the pool needs painting the screen on the sliding glass door going to the pool from the living room, does not work right the fan in the kitchen makes a whole lotta noise needs more utensils in the kitchen and large bowl and a whisk for scrambling eggs The washer and dryer works great but had soap all over it. I had to clean it to use it the beds aren’t very comfortable, but I thought there were TVs in all the rooms, but there wasn’t there’s a big lump in the floor from the living room to the kitchen. The dining room was beautiful. We totally enjoyed that with 10 of us there if you fixed a few things that are wrong it would be a wonderful place to stay. it was really nice to be that close to Universal Studios.

I want to provide direct feedback regarding my recent stay.During the stay, I received two calls from the property manager that I found concerning and unnecessary. The first call stated that neighbors were complaining about too many cars parked outside. However, all vehicles were legally parked, and two of the cars mentioned were legally parked in front of neighboring homes, which is common street parking.A second call came about a minute later asking how many cars were present, what was going on, and referencing complaints about traffic. There was no music, no disruptive behavior, and no gathering outside. Adults were simply stopping by briefly to congratulate my son on his recent movie accomplishment.What made this especially uncomfortable was the overall tone and circumstances. There was no actual disturbance taking place, yet the situation felt like we were being singled out and scrutinized. As guests, we expected to be treated fairly and respectfully.To add to that discomfort, on checkout morning, while I was in the process of leaving, two bottles of bleach were delivered to the front door. Given the prior interactions, this felt inappropriate and added to an already negative experience.I am asking that this feedback be taken seriously. Guests should not feel targeted, profiled, or made uncomfortable when they are following the rules and being respectful. I would appreciate this being reviewed so future guests are treated with professionalism, fairness, and res

Wonderful views & decor in an older home

We were supposed to stay 4 nights but were told to evacuate for the last 2 nights due to the LA wildfires, and we are waiting for a refund for those 2 nights as we had to pay for extra accommodation. Of course this was unforeseen and no-one’s fault. The host: Brooke from Apollo Getaways was incredibly good with communication. She tried hard to resolve a number of issues (see comments below) and was always courteous and kind.The house: Beautifully decorated with fabulous views in a lovely, quiet, safe area. Very spacious and lovely living and bedrooms. Super comfortable beds with generous linens and towels. The kitchen hasn’t been renovated and needs major upgrades to get it up to standard to match the rest of the house. Not working or missing: No helpful manual or instructions about the house (so we had to keep contacting the host for help and felt bad doing so). No hot water at all in the kitchen. Hot Tub didn’t heat above 83 despite the pool man apparently repairing it (big disappointment for us as this was one reason we chose this house). No pool towels. No teatowels. This feels like a new listing and just needs some attention to detail to make it fabulous. It has so much potential. Despite what was missing we would stay here again and were disappointed our time was cut short (but so thankful to be safe and that the house also was safe)
