Disliked: Cleanliness
My family and I recently stayed at this property and unfortunately our experience did not meet expectations. I’m sharing this feedback constructively in hopes it helps improve future guests’ stays.Upon arrival, we noticed several cleanliness and maintenance concerns. The hand soap dispensers appeared to be filled with water rather than soap. The master bath shower curtain had visible mold, and the washing machine was not clean. The floors were not fully cleaned, especially around & under the beds. The ceiling fans were also very dusty and had visible spider webs; when turned on, dust would blow around the room.There were also a few maintenance issues: a broken dining room chair, broken/dented flooring (which was not the safest for toddlers roaming around) and a living room lamp that seemed unstable and close to falling over. The guest bathroom did not have an outlet, which was inconvenient and not noted. We did experience some discomfort on 2/3 mattresses as they seemed worn down, making 2 people roll into the center of the bed. Additionally, the guest room having an exterior door was unexpected and may be worth clarifying in the listing for safety and privacy awareness. Overall, the home has potential, but it would benefit from more thorough cleaning and attention to basic maintenance. I hope this feedback is helpful to the host in improving the experience for future guests.
