Musty, crusty, noisy and old. Our first room was over top of a holiday party and it sounded like they were in the bedroom with us. We moved to the "little hotel" which was equipped much like the state park cabins I've stayed in :( . Everything smelled musty, the carpet felt damp, and the walls were paper thin. Poor experience for sure. Staff was kind but overall it stunk.

The hotel is beautiful inside and out. Room was large and very well maintained. Without exception staff was extremely friendly and polite. Valet parking was very friendly and handled expeditiously. Will definitely stay at the Hotel again when we return to La Jolla.

Old School Charm

The staff was amazing, especially Kassandra at the front desk. Her friendly demeanor and customer service was outstanding. The rooms are well appointed and clean, with many having ocean views. The ocean and La Jolla Village, with its shops and restaurants, are within easy walking distance. The hotel has the feel of a family owned, boutique hotel.
