This oasis is 1,188 square feet and is located in a quiet building, on the top floor with views of the water and mountain from the large lanai which easily seats six. The lanai closet contains beach chairs, umbrellas, mats, boogie boards, and sand toys.
This spacious Hawaii-themed unit also includes a queen-sized bed in the living room, a master bedroom with a queen bed located in the loft, a full updated kitchen, WiFi, flat-screen TVs in the living room and in both bedrooms, ceiling fans, washer/dryer, air conditioning, and living area with dining table. The kitchen has been refurbished with new dishes, a mixmaster, cutlery, and everything you'll need to cook a gourmet meal including a rice cooker and blender. A new air conditioner and new ceiling fans keeps the unit cool and comfortable. Both bedrooms have Serta mattresses on the beds, laminate floors and tile throughout the rest of the unit. Great Location and Adequate Condo
Certainly the place is out of date as far as amenities, but the complex is located right across the street from the beach and is in walking distance of restaurants and shops. Close drive to several shopping centers with Safeway and several good restaurants. Would most likely book again, however, price was a little high in my opinion.
This condo worked out well for our family of 5. Good size unit allowed for great separation into three areas. The property grounds are fantastic, nice pool/jacuzzi, and close proximity to walk to the beach. Ten of the nicest beaches within quick driving distance. Many nice restaurants. Kihei and the Kamaole Sands are my favorite places on all the islands.

The good - a great location in Kihei right across from Kam III beach and easy walking to shopping and dining. Grounds are beautiful, and the property staff were helpful. The pool and BBQ areas were always clean. Once we finally got access, the beach supplies were nice.
However, the pics in the listing are quite different than in person, and must have been photoshopped. When we arrived the unit was dirty. Less than 24 hrs after an email to the property manager, an entire crew was sent in, and they did their best to remedy the housekeeping issues. I greatly appreciate the onsite staff as they were kind, apologetic, and did what they could to address our concerns (other than a maint staff that walked in unannounced 30 min after check-in). They did offer to refund our cleaning fee, which was appreciated.
Our other concerns were related to the maint and upkeep of the condo - the washing machine was broken and flooded the laundry closet and bathroom, only half the electrical outlets were working, kitchen supplies old/not functional, the screen on the lanai broken, the sliding door latch on the lanai was broken and you had to wiggle it for the latch to drop to lock, paint is rubbing off the walls, beds were uncomfortable, and it took trial and error all week to figure out what was what.
Filed a customer complaint with vrbo, however the owner rejected any compensation. Be warned when booking. I have never encountered this on previous homestays.
