Amazing place to stay. The staff were incredible, and the food in the restaurant was really quite good - especially the breakfasts. To be able to grab a glass of wine and sit out on the deck and see Mt Rushmore light up is a treat!

We had a wonderful stay at Under Canvas Mount Rushmore. The setting, the atmosphere, and the way the property blends comfort with the Black Hills made it a great experience for our family. The UnderCanvas Team deserves a lot of credit — everyone we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. The tent setup and amenities were next level, and the overall environment was exactly what we hoped for. It’s a great base camp for families to visit the surrounding areas.

From check in to check out, our stay was 5 stars. Curtis who welcomed us was very welcoming as were all staff. Our tent was clean, equipped with all we needed and had gorgeous views all around. We had a clear view of Mt. Rushmore on our porch. The meals we had from their onsite restaurant were very good. We enjoyed our total glamping experience here. Highly recommend!

Have butane lighters vs matches and please, please ensure the wood stoves are in good working condition! We did not have use of the wood stoves the first night but mgmt quickly resolved. Good was excellent and we slept like kings! Staff were incredible!

We traveled to this location during the night and it was incredibly hard to see the road signs leading to it. Most of the roads were dirt and some of them were washed out from rain. It is best to get here during daylight.

I need to first start out by saying the staff are absolutely amazing. There were some staff that had only been there for a few days, and they were so polite and accommodating. The tents were really well maintained, the bed was super comfy and the ability to see the stars at night was the absolute best!! I can't say enough about this place and how fantastic it was. From the staff, to the food, to the accommodations... we made memories to last a lifetime thanks to this place!!

Our anniversary trip to Under Canvas was an experience we’ll never forget. Waking up to the incredible scenery each morning and ending our days under the stars created memories we’ll cherish for years to come. The setting was absolutely breathtaking—glamping at its finest. We loved being immersed in nature without sacrificing comfort. The food was delicious, and every meal felt like part of the celebration. What stood out most was the thoughtful staff. Their kindness and attention to detail made us feel genuinely welcomed and helped make our anniversary extra special. Thank you for helping create such wonderful memories.
