Very Unpleasant Stay
Our stay at this property managed by Vacasa was very disappointing. First, the light in the ceiling fan in the master bedroom would not turn off because it is only controlled with a remote that did not work and there is no wall switch. There were also no new batteries for the remote. We had to climb up and remove the bulb to turn it off so we could sleep. Next, the smoke detector alarm in the unit went off starting about 5 pm one evening. We did not know why it went off and could not reach it to unplug it. It was so loud that it could be heard from the parking lot. Despite contacting Vacasa immediately, they refused to send anyone out to fix the issue because their local staff do not work in the evening. There is no one to help you after hours. After enduring the alarm for three continuous hours we were forced to leave the property and stay in a hotel. Afterwards, Vacasa said my family should not have left until they sent a technician the next morning and we should not have stayed in a hotel. This was impossible under the circumstances. Vacasa’s lack of responsiveness and poor customer service made our stay a terrible experience.
