I stayed one night so I could sleep since I had been staying with my child at Children’s Mercy (3 hrs from home) I wasn’t sleeping well since it’s a busy hospital which is to be expected. So I booked a room nearby at a Marriott hotel because I always chose these and have positive experiences. I had multiple issues here and when I tried to address the issues I was not treated respectfully or contacted back multiple attempts were made on my part.
The room was muggy and musty (took awhile to cool it down) no towels, soap or shampoo. I didn’t make an issue of it since I just needed peace and to sleep. But then it was very noisy outside, noisy guests in the hall the front desk not dealing with the constant running, screaming, knocking from this family. The ice machine is right by the rooms and very loud all night, the laundry room is close too and was being operated from very very early on and constantly from staff.The breakfast wasn’t refilled and i went early. I politely informed the worker and she ignored me then didn’t look at me and said ok but never refilled it. I told her no rush I just wanted her to know. I came back later and it still wasn’t refilled. I wanted to be able to sleep, have a shower, peace, and a hot breakfast since we’d been in a hospital during a scary situation with my very ill daughter. Upon checkout I let the clerk know and she didn’t act like she cared. Shady place, managers, workers.
No one has called back and Expedia agent tried and failed.
