Pros: Convenient and cheap Cons: The room had a musty smell, there was only one outlet to use in the sleeping area and one in the bathroom area (only a big deal if multiple people are using the room), the hotel is right next to the highway so you hear cars and semi trucks driving by all night while trying to sleep. They did not provide shampoo or conditioner to take a shower with. I used this motel after driving 12 hours from Colorado. The staff was friendly at check in. My room, not so much. As soon as I walked in there was an off smell to it, kinda like an old wet smell. I had to unplug the lamp to use the only outlet next to the bed to charge my watch and phone (again only really annoying if 2+ people want to charge something). It was hard to sleep having to listen to vehicles driving on the highway. When I went to take a shower in the morning, there were 4 bars of soap to use but no shampoo or conditioner if you want to wash your hair. Though it was cheap for the night, the room was lacking a welcoming feel and I never felt comfortable in the room. I would only stay here again in an emergency situation but I will look for a nicer place next time I'm in KC. The area surrounding the motel was quiet (except for the highway). I was trying to save money but in the end I got what I paid for. Perfect place if you're on an extreme budget but there are other hotels nearby that would probably feel more comfortable for a little more money.
