The room is spotless, and comfortable. The staff is absolutely amazing. This is the best hotel in town. Nothing compares. I travel for work and have stayed at every hotel in Juneau. I will be picking this one every time from now on.

Newly renovated hotel with a small gym area and a beautiful sea view. The building may still be under construction in some areas. The floors or walls seem a bit thin, as we could hear people walking nearby. The sea view was lovely, but because the hotel is close to the main road, there was quite a bit of traffic noise. Overall, the hotel has potential and we still enjoyed our stay.

A Great Place To Stay

We were the first guests in the room while the majority of rooms were still undergoing renovation. The room was terrific! When the renovation is finished, this will definitely be the go to hotel in Juneau.

"From the moment our team stepped into Waterfront at The Glacier, we were treated with impeccable service at every turn. The staff were incredibly attentive, anticipating our teams needs before we even had to ask. Our room was clean, boasting stunning views of the waterfront as well as high-end amenities that made us feel at home. Under renovation, this property still needs a good amount of work. No hotel laundry room for guests. I paid extra for a "premium" room with washer/dryer and full kitchen. Rooms on the 100 level are motel style, not connected to the lobby and gym. Rooms had nice view of the water, but we were also next to a construction dumpster. Washer and dryer are small, and dryer takes forever to work. So don't expect to get a whole lot of laundry accomplished. Full kitchen with fridge, microwave, and stove. Had plates, cups, and pans, but I had to ask for silverware. No cooking utensils at all. Room also noisy, as it's next to Glacier Highway. No breakfast, just green tea and a bit of coffee and creamer. There used to be a hotel restaurant, but it's also under renovation. I found chunks of plaster in the room and in their hotel gym. Could have done a better job cleaning. This hotel had so much potential and great reviews online. I wanted to like it, but it was definitely overpriced for what I received.

The property has been renovated and the rooms are modern with wood accents and back lighting. The shower felt so good, especially after a full travel day. Absolutely loved the room. Very clean. The staff and manager were great. We had a sea view and enjoyed stepping out onto the balcony for the amazing view. Highly recommend.

Wonderfully remodeled hotel. Beautiful furnishings. Nice to have a kitchenette, but we didn't use it. The hotel had just opened and they are very accommodating to our needs. We had a 1st floor room on the parking area and street view. It would be nice to have some vegetative screening from passers by without having to draw the shades.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Property was under construction but at no point did it feel that way. Walking distance to the high school where I was attending events. Affordable and clean. Only negative was the trash can in the room being full on arrival and it would be really nice if there was a mirror outside of the bathroom.

This property was a total disappointment from the room location ( the sea view was very obstructed) to the condition of the facility. When I checked in, the clerk told me to take the stairs down and my room would be on the left. Imagine my surprise when I lugged 2 heavy suitcases down two flights of very dirty stairs to walk through a door into a parking lot I could have driven to. The room's exterior door was open to the parking. If the room had been cleaner ( no carpet sounds great but not when your white socks turn black) it might have improved the first impression but no such luck. The bed coverings were stained. There was some really cool accent lighting shown in the pictures but ours did not work ( we could see other rooms lit through the window) . Several black hairs were found in the bathroom. There was a very nice kitchen with cookware but the utensils were sparse ( no bowls, 1 plate). The blackout shades were a joke as there was a gap of light around the entire perimeter of the shade. Our room was the only one that did not have a screen on the window and it got up to 75 degrees for 3 days. Huge gap under the front door. Other than the location, there were no positives. We threw away our socks. I shelled out $3000 for 7 nights. I was screwed!!!!

I stayed at the hotel in July 22nd and the whole place was being renovated (I got an email letting me know that the day after I arrived, so, it was not helpful). I decided to stay, the room was fully renovated: new bed, new doors, new floor, everything new, very modern and confortable. By the time I left, the lobby was looking better and the place was not full of gravel. I totally recommend the hotel, just contact them to know if the renovations are done.

The property was under construction. The walls were so thin the road noise and other occupants were loud. Unsafe with only a single key lock and no further lock inside the room. GM was very nice but could not make up for the property condition.
