Hotel was nice and would stay again, but, disappointed Orbitz didn't mention construction going on.

We visited in July and hotel was being renovated. Deluxe King Sea View room was was newly renovated and spacious and comfortable. Restaurant in the lobby, McGivny's, has a good atmosphere and good food--try Tracy's Crab Cakes.

You need to specify water view (prettier) or mountain view (quieter, if window open): sometimes there is surcharge for water, sometimes not The hotel is probably my first pick for downtown, because of the view of channel, ships and floatplanes. The room was good, spacious, with good bed, and desk with good chair. Wifi is good. They have several newspapers in the lobby: local paper, Alaska Dispatch and USAToday. Also a desk with computer and printer. TV has Starz channels, but no HBO. Not a big deal as wifi is good so can watch online, just seemed unusual choice. Coffee in the room is mini-Keurig with some pods that were not that brand and only on the first day was there green tea (Kirkland bags, not pods). Old iPod charger-- pre-lightning is useless why bother? But the lamps have outlets on the base. The restaurant is now a sports bar/restaurant, but plenty of nearby choices

Staff forgot morning wake-up. Called over an hour late, missed initial flight.

Great views, clean room and easy access to down town. Restaurant/Bar in hotel had great food and service. Hotel was remodeling the second floor when I was there, didn't hear any noise. Only complaint was the parking is limited and that was on there web site.

Te room os very good but the bathroom is really old. The hotel location is great, close To downtown, good restaurants, the pier.... The hotel pays the taxi to and from the airport, which is much appreciated!! The staff does not talk much to the guests. But we had no problems there.

This hotel is comparable to a typical Holiday Inn. Overall, appears to be far better than several of the other Juneau hotels I passed by during my stay.

Room was fine but the lobby and halls need a facelift

The Goldbelt Hotel Juneau was a good value. We were downtown, where there is quite a bit to do, both shopping, and tourism related. There was a free shuttle from the airport which is always appreciated. Would have been nice to have some breakfast service, but they are remodeling, and would imagine that will be coming. There are several breakfast cafes downtown, just 5 minutes away, so wasn't a problem. We asked for a wakeup call, and unlike some hotels, it was timely, and we got it which we have had problems with at other hotels. We would stay there again even though there are some fancier hotels with a few more amenities. Bed was wonderful, and room was large. Thank you!

The hotel is shabby and run-down looking. It is currently undergoing some renovations but seemed to lack general attitude of being cared for. Example: front door outside rubber mats to wipe feet were half on the sidewalk half off and were like that our entire stay. The room was good sized and the bath was clean with clean towels. We went out after dropping off our luggage but when we got back and unpacked we noticed dirt and water rings from glasses on the bedside tables. When we turned down the bed THE SHEETS HAD NOT BEEN CHANGED !! Hair and toenail on sheets and blood on one of the pillowcases. We had to strip the bed ourselves, go down to the lobby, get clean sheets and remake the bed ourselves. Front counter staff that night and again next morning were informed of the situation but there was no offer of refund or adjustment.

The hotel was very clean, very nice rooms and service was great.

Pleasantly surprised, however limited hot water and no shower curtain.

We had a great experience with the staff and loved the location of the hotel. They had a shuttle that picked us up and dropped us off at the airport, free wifi, and your basic coffee maker and blow drier in the room. It was really pricey for the amenities, but it was easy to get to downtown, we felt safe, and we had a nice view of the mountains. I would definitely recommend the Goldbelt, but don't expect luxury.

This hotel is in a gorgeous, beautiful location, but is stuck in the 80's. We're talking tiny beds with scratchy blankets, dingy old drapes, gross carpets and a 19 inch box tv. Rates are extrodinarily expensive for the lack of room comfort and next to zero amenities. Very disappointed.

Used the hotel as a base for our Cruise West tour. The room was clean and spacious, although the TV was TINY. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant served very good basic breakfast choices.

Hotel rooms and lobby was nothing special. Location was perfect for Cruise West program and staff was very friendly.

Big rooms and great location make this a good option. Zen Restaurant is excellent fare with an interesting menu and affordable lunch. This site is close to downtown shopping and waterfront. it is a short drive to other atarctions like the Mendenhall Glacier. The airport shuttle is a plus but the shuttle will not take you out to the ferry which is a minus.
