The lift broke down. My family and I were stuck in the lift for almost 30 minutes. Inside the lift shaft, there was no phone signal, pressed the bell but no response. When finally got signal, it was weak and the emergency number was to the lift company and not the hotel. After 30 minutes, we finally heard voices. Took another 15 minutes before they brought us to safety and opened the door. When queried, staff said they have visual of us in the lift but the intercom was down. This was very traumatic. The other lifts functioned intermittently when we used it. There were long pause before the lift started moving. It was very stressful after that experience. There was no service recovery offered until asked. Free breakfast was offered to my family. Strongly urge the hotel to check the lift especially during and after a thunderstorm.

Bidet spray in the toilet showed signs of bursting. At 3am I decided to called the room service and activate the maintenance team. Fortunately wheh he arrives, the pipe burst and strong jet of water comes our. Luckily his hand was holding it and pointing to the floor. Imagine if I was using it and naked with the jet if water spraying all over the toilet! Breakfast was not nice. Food looks appealing but taste wasnt fantastic! Lost my appetite to have a sumptious buffet spread breakfast on my 2nd morning.

The hotel is located near CIQ and near malls, which is very convenient. The pastry corners in breakfast is great variety of danish pastry, doughnuts , wafers. There are gluten free bread. It would be great if the breakfast has more proteins. There are lot of carbs such as prata, rice, dried bee hoon and noodle soup. Overall experience of room and staff service are excellent.
