Overall great experience. Owner communicated when needed. Convenient location to traveling to NYC. Very clean and quiet. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting New Jersey or New York area.

Spouse and I were on a road trip to visit family who live in Jersey City and work in theater in NYC. So parking was a key requirement for us and going to see them at home and at their show.This property has off street garage parking, which is rare in the area, and it is walking distance from the train transit system. The parking is a tight fit, and shared with other building occupants, but our Toyota minivan was able to make use of it. If you have a Suburban size vehicle, or lack confidence simultaneously backing and turning into a tight spot - not so much.The property is convenient to use, well equipped, and clean but there are upstairs neighbors conducting their normal family life. The neighbors in no way intend any impacts, however they are clearly apparent via sound transmission in the building. Other reviews have mentioned this, it's real, but we were not bothered by it. Bring ear plugs for sleep if you must and if you're like us, your days are spent elsewhere anyhow.The train station is about a 15 minute walk up a hill from the property. The neighborhood has many walk-able food choices and food delivery options.Driving in the area is a chore due to constant traffic and complex routing so using transit is highly recommended, particularly for travel to NYC.In my opinion, the listing provides everything you need to know to make good use of this space and the pricing is very reasonable when compared to hotels if you need parking.We were very satisfied!

I arrived to my reserved garage spot being occupied, and no other spots available. The outdoor spot I was requested to park in was covered in a foot and a half of snow, I was still asked to park there, even after trying and possibly damaging my car. In addition to trying to resolve the parking dilemma. The furniture in the unit is extremely uncomfortable, the "3rd" sleeping spot is a tiny futon that I know some people wouldn't even fit on. One bedside table was so shaky I swore it was going to fall over. The pillows were so miserably flat and hard I went to Walmart to buy new ones in the meantime.

Apartamento fantástico para visitar NY. Tiene todo lo necesario y su ubicación es muy cercana a la estación de PATH que te lleva en 20 minutos a Manhattan. Muy recomendable

Sent message to host when we arrived a few minutes early, they never responded. Sofas were very uncomfortable. Kitchen dining set was also terribly uncomfortable. I would also advise them to get a different coffee table. The one in the unit is all glass and easy to trip over. The walls are super thin! One night a large group was above us partying - very disruptive! We had to enter through the garage and walk around neighbor’sstuff (boxes, toys, mattresses, bikes, etc.)The bed was very comfortable & I appreciated the make-up table since there was only one bathroom.

The apartment itself was beautifully renovated and very clean and comfortable. The only reason I can’t give 5 stars overall was the neighbors were loud at times even late at night and during the night. Not sure if they were also renting short term so this could have been an experience unique to our stay

Great Apartment

The apartment was absolutely gorgeous and decorated so beautifully!! The apartment also has access to a private backyard which was really pretty. Faria, the owner was very nice and so was her assistant Tiffany. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a really nice place to stay. It is really close to the Journal Square Path (like a 7 minute walk) and is close to restaurants and shopping. You will not be disappointed!
