The hotel is older, the rooms are small but the shower is large, but it could use a vent. The AC was noisy, but it was okay because it downed the sound of someone moving something a floor above or the elevator...not sure what it was but it was non stop. The pool looked nice and clean but be warned that there are plenty of mosquitoes. The buffet is excellent!!!! The staff was accommodating!

My stay as always is wonderful. The only problem was that my husband got food poisoning. We usually always get complimentary vouchers for the breakfast buffet, due to my husband not being able to go out of the room due to his health i went straight to the buffet to grab only fruit and a tea. Once i asked to please let me grab a plate of fruit they looked at me like if i was asking for the whole buffet for take out. They proceeded to ignore me and once i felt ignored and not knowledge i asked again for help, i a explained i had the vouchers and if i couldn’t take the food i could pay for it. They proceeded to walk away and one of the ladys felt bad for me due to the fact that they were rude to me. One of the other lady then proceeded to grab the fruit, she didn’t even let me grab it, i asked for a banana and she told me bananas were not available yet. I asked for a set of utensils and she gave me that look like if i was really asking for too much. I checked out and was gonna leave without saying anything but I feel in this kind of cases the way they treated us was not the best customer service. Management took the time to listen to me and expressed her concern for the lack of service. Overall is a great hotel and love staying at El meson del valle.

Staff is friendly and if they can not help you, they will guide you to someone who can. Breakfast was the same for 3 days and it was cold. However, the staff was fast to warm it up for you. Same goes for the coffee, it was cold, but tgey were fast at warming everything up. Parking is safe but good luck trying to find space after 8pm. There is someone who washes your car everyday. Place was quiet with the excpetion of one evening/early morning where there was loud music and girls screaming.

Things to get better

My stay was good overall, this is my third time staying at the hotel and i think that there's more room for improvement, i really enjoyed the beds they're comfy , my room lacked of a safe so I can put my valuables inside and not carry everything with me , also a stand to put my luggage would be nice, to have a nice iron and a table to the reach of my hand , and my restroom needed a fan so the moisture of every shower can get out , a small little fridge also would be awesome so people can put little things that need to be kept in the cold , overall the service, housekeeping, and all the staff do a very good work to keep the rooms tidy and shine.
