Yeah I've never been in a Marriott property or maybe even quick hotel stay on the highway that was this bad. I'll never use Expedia for a bundle after this and considering transferring my loyalty to Hilton properties.

Active Construction Site, Miserable stay

The entire hotel was under construction with hammering and nail guns going on in the rooms next to ours until 8:45 at night. Took a shower, somewhat clean bathroom, towel rack fell off barely touched it. Front desk had a list with 3 rooms on it that were available unable to change our room away from noise of construction & unable to give discount or refund because we boooked through hotels.com. HOtels.com does not have customer service number to contact for help. Won't be using hotels.com for travel anymore.

The hotel looked like under construction or something. The floor tiles were broken every corners, carpet was dirty and smelly. The location was shady. The only thing good was the staff. And nothing more to add on.

I had to laugh at the photo of the outdoor area on the email because what I experienced was the total opposite of the photo. No cushions, no organization, nothing appealing. I know the hotel is undergoing renovation and the lobby area and most rooms have been updated but the hallway carpet was filthy and looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks. I had reservations for two nights but checked out after one. The area did feel safe and the staff were cordial and helpful, but the areas not renovated were just nasty.

Never Stay at this Hell Hole

The receptionist at the front desk was extremely rude. They didn’t have any king bed rooms available (which was the room type we reserved) and the only option was two queen or full size beds whichever it was. We accepted and went to the room which was smelly and extremely hot to the point it took all night to cool off. When I confronted her she said that was all that was available and if we didn’t want to stay we could go somewhere else! When I told her that Marriott would not be happy with the conditions of the hotel and the rudeness of the service she stated that they were independently owned and they didn’t care! We had been traveling all day and needed our rest so we settled but I was appalled by the level of service this person was giving! Later I came down to see if they may have something for a headache and witnessed this same front desk worker being extremely rude to another customer at which time she canceled his reservation against his will and told him to find another place to stay because he wasn’t staying there! This type of behavior is extremely unacceptable and should not be tolerated by ANY business owner much less a corporate franchise such as Marriott! The rooms and the entire hotel wasn’t up to par to be a two star hotel such as Motel 6!! These are all facts!!
