Charming !!
The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was nice. We loved the gas fireplace. The breakfasts at the restaurant were delicious. The wait staff at the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner were really friendly, helpful, and attentive. On a few separate occasions, we had living flies in our room, which was surprising, as it is February. Otherwise, we would have given the room cleanliness a 5-star rating. For one dinner, the waitress was great and so nice. She even dimmed the lights for me when I asked her about it, which I thought was really nice of her. However, the steak we both got was tough, fatty, and very chewy and difficult to eat. Everything else about the dinner was great. We just felt disappointed by the steaks as they were $42 each and not the best. Overall, we had a nice stay.
We had a lovely stay at La Tourelle. The staff was wonderful and we so enjoyed the gorgeous views of the valley and grounds from our room. Everything was super clean. We also had a lovely massage at the spa and the massage therapists were absolutely excellent. I do wish the property was a little bit more upgraded given the price point. Our first impression wasn't the best as we drove in to a driveway full of potholes. The lobby also felt outdated and dark (though the daily happy hour they offer there was a highlight!). The lobby could use a few upgrades to feel more luxurious and like a place you want to spend time in. Overall, we enjoyed our time and appreciated the proximity of the hotel to Ithaca. Thank you for a great stay!
A beautiful space with plenty of nature and relaxing areas. Loved the duck pond and access to Buttermilk Falls. The staff was incredibly kind and went out of their way to ensure our short stay was exceptional. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get an appointment at the Spa onsite at the last minute, but I did love the whirlpool tub with jets in our room. The 'sunrise' view from our room was a bit misleading at this time of year, and the balcony was a bit small and faced the parking lot which wasn't the most exciting vantage point. However, the bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, and the furnishings were impeccable. Truly a rustic boho-chic atmosphere at this space. Looking forward to returning in the future.

This is a lovely resort with a wonderful spa. It's nice to be able to go out the door and be right on hiking paths to Buttermilk Falls. Clean facilities with a lovely and helpful staff.
The hotel staff explained their Covid procedures and clearly followed them. The hotel was spotless and all of the staff was friendly and helpful. Hiking was available as the trailhead to Buttermilk Falls was on the property. The hotel was a good base to explore the area’s wineries.
This is a unique hotel experience. The wine/distillery dinner event held on Valentine's Day was exquisite. Food,service and ambiance was charming and luxurious. The happy hour in the lobby bar gave guests a chance to mingle in a very warm environment. Hotel room was spacious and the grounds are beautiful.
The options at the spa were great, prices reasonable.

Unique hotel. Very beautiful! We loved our room. It was spacious and had the biggest windows in any hotel we’d ever been with a great view.
Great family owned hotel! Complimentary wine tasting was wonderful. Definitely will stay again next time I visit Ithaca!

The best experience in Ithaca! Great hospitality. Took a breathtaking hike down to buttermilk falls and was driven back to the hotel by hotel staff. Complimentary wine each night, cheese and crackers, and yummy chocolate cookies. Breakfast was delicious and they serve the best coffee! Room was very spacious and comfortable (especially the beds!). The grounds are beautiful. Great place to relax and read but also close enough to all the Ithaca sites! Can't wait to go back!
We love this fabulous hotel! Everything about it makes my heart happy; from the spa, to the room, to staff, to exemplary food! If you haven’t gone to La Tourelle yet, you should book! You will not be disappointed!

It was a very pleasant experience... the rooms are very charming and guess what! they have a book shelf full of physical books in their rooms. It looks like a movie setting
The hotel is excellent, the rooms were extremely clean and cosy; very accommodating staff. All our requests including late checkout was met promptly. They really serve with a smile, overall very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Best hotel in town definitely recommended.
