wifi works only sometimes. No support from the staff on this matter.

The room was old and uncomfortable. The staff was disjointed and less than helpful.

We were extremely disappointed. Room was not clean, shower was broken, hotel manager was rude and obnoxious and refused to do anything to fix the situation. Not sure how this place stays in business but pretty sure the manager doesn't care.

Was here 15 years ago. Still a very well run motel and convenient to Cornell, Ithaca College , downtown, and the lake. I'd come back again.

Inexpensive, Average, average. Set realistic expectations for what you will be paying for. It's a room with a bed and bathroom that is clean in a dated, highly used room.

Room out dated. Breakfast poor breakfast room dirty and dusty. Ok Sri unit and dusty tv on floor in dinning area. Not a full breakfast as posted on site.

My favorite thin about this hotel was I could walk to places to eat (one was a real good seafood place), the local farmers market ( where they also had dragon boat races during my stay), and find other things to do. I went to Ithaca for a wedding but was the only person I knew who stayed in town. It was well worth it.

Look, it isn't five star. It just isn't. The carpets everywhere need steam cleaning, some of the furniture is, shall we say, shaky and there are some cleanliness issues -- like the coffee maker in my room. Having said that the rooms were clean, the beds great, noise level very very low and great location. If you are looking for upscale, this isn't it. If you are looking for a room to sleep in while you explore, go for it.

Cheap and well located. Fairly quiet, easy free parking. Nice breakfast w coffee, yogurt toast. Poor wifi. Refrig leaked. Not all light switches worked. Bedspread stained. Found Pincher bug on dresser. 3 night bug bites over 4 days but not bed bugs. Recommend upgrade to newer rooms.

In town same weekend as major college event which made rooms scarce- this one was only one available for 20 miles in each direction - so clearly it was a last choice for many. On arrival, found office entrance locked, with an untimed (and undated :) ) note taped to the door: Back in a few minutes. It was true. Desk attendant returned in a few minutes, very polite, but if you saw him coming on a darkened sidewalk you'd cross the street. The common entryway in the south wing was dirty, with badly stained carpet. Housekeeping closet with the door open at the top of the stairs. Bad first impression, but the room itself was very comfortable, and immaculate, and featured a very cool old-time TV- the kind with a cathode ray tube. As advertised, the internet was free, but inaccessible because of router problems. A different desk attendant, also very polite and a much less threatening looking female said they had a lot of trouble with their current tech provider. Yet, he/she still WAS their current tech provider. In summary, once you get to your room, if internet service is not critical, This place is adequate.

This is an older motel. No frills, not particularly attractive grounds, but the room is fine. Shower works well, bed is okay, and the TV, although antiquated does work. There is also a restaurant on site although I didn't eat at it. If you're looking for a place to work or use the Internet, this is not the place for you. If you're looking for a reasonably priced room for the night, it's fine.

Convenient location and walking distance in the city on a nice sunny day. Worked out well and enjoyed the stay.

For those who drive to Ithaca, this hotel's location is one of the better ones. You are within walking distance to a large supermarket. Cornell and downtown are in less than 10 minutes' drive. Thus the value depends on the price.

Had my expectations low as I was crashing-in just for a night. Even for that, the room was horrible - no fresh towels, smelly sheets. Had to forcibly sleep for the night and get out as fast as I could.

We needed a bed for the night and for the 59 dollars it cost us the room was good.

-a refrigerator is a plus -Cleanliness was quite lacking, and candy wrappers at the base of the bed were not cleared for 3 days -shower head defective

If not for it being within a 1.5 of ithaca college this place is absolutely worthless...no wifi although advertized that it does....while not musty or dirty, the 80's called and they want their room decor back....anyone who gives this place anything above 2 stars must be living in a cave....

Ordinary hotel great loction and most comfortable hotel bed ever....

Hotel doesn't seem like it's been updated much since the 1970's (I don't mean that in a good way). Stuff was rusted and broken/jimmy rigged. Paid $150 for one night- SOOOO not worth the money!!

The hotel is located near stores and restaurants an pretty close to attractions like the lake and different falls in area so is convenient for a one night stay. The room had 3 beds which was very convenient. The room and especially the bedroom were dirty and looked like they have not been sweeped/mopped-there was garbage on the floor and even spider with spiderweb in the room. There was no microwave, only a coffee maker and they only gave us 3 towels even though we were 4 people
