It was in a strip mall and the bed was lumpy and creaked. The sheets were wrinkly so we thought they weren't changed. The hotel staff was nice but they skimped on towels and toiletries. The ceiling had water stains like it leaked and the room felt like it was moldy. The room looked clean and the hotel in general had a clean appearance but it was hard to breathe in the room.

Pet-friendly, clean and comfortable room. Very helpful staff and excellent full breakfast.

The location of this hotel is great, and close to Cornell campus. The surrounding is also quiet. But, as previous posts said, the air-conditioning is way too loud, and will startup every a few minutes. Of course, you can choose to shut it down, but then the evening may be too cold, as the blanket is very thin.

All was ok except the air condition was very loud.

The staff was incredibly helpful, alerting me to hotel shortages on weekends such as moving in and graduation (should my son be accepted). The shuttle service was fantastic, as parking is extremely limited on campus. Even after we had checked out, the shuttle picked us up and brought us to our vehicle, left in their parking lot. Breakfast was great to start out a very busy day and adequate for a hungry teenage boy. I'll be booking move-in weekend when the acceptance letter arrives.

To accompany my son to Cornell as the freshman. The motel is an old building, but I guess they tried their best to keep all rooms clean. It's very expensive if just consider the room, especially during the freshman check in week and parents weekend (around $250/nt if you could book 4 month ago.)The price of the room goes with the Cornell Academic schedule.

Hotel was ok. I thought it kind of pricey for the area, especially considering its location. Pool was small. Breakfast was limited and the breakfast area was a mess. Needed to be there early or it was all gone. Bathroom floor was dirty and staff notified, but no one was sent to clean it.

It was bad, The staff is rude. The madre my bes justo The last day after Complaint.

The room and facility were comfortable and provided all we needed for a relaxing stay. But the staff at this BW is awesome! We were warmly welcomed and and they even helped my son celebrate his birthday with a rose, balloon and card...our housekeeper Cassie was so thoughtful and friendly, and respectful of our privacy. We will certainly return next time we're in Ithaca!

Close to Cornell campus. Shuttle service was free and available for down town and campus. Shuttle is not available if someone has flight at 6:00am.

Loved the fireplace in the room. Was a nice touch that you do not often get.

Having stayed at other best westerns I knew what to expect and while level of cleanliness was good, there were very few amenities; I asked for a shower cap ( not in room) and was told I could buy one at local store! Sorry, shower cap is the least a good hotel chain should provide, especially when specifically requested. Nor were we advised of the breakfast at check -in. Only reason I would return is the proximity to cornell.

A quote from my wife "this is as good as being home."

The big plus for this hotel is that it is right next to a shopping center with a supermarket, some small restaurants and other businesses. It is about 20min walk to down-town where you find amazing food and beautiful university campus. This was a decent place to stay if you don't want to be in a quiet place.

Staff were not that interested in satisfaction. Value was OK and location was convenient. Our room was next to the laundry room and during the day when we came back to our room we could hear all of the staff conversations. Some were gossip, some were complaints about co-workers. Attention to detail was lacking. We had cobwebs on the high part of the ceiling. We booked three non-smoking rooms and only were offered two when we checked in. The smoking room had heavy smell of cleaners attempting to mask smoke. I would go back again if other locations were not avialable.

Clean; comfortable. Very helpful staff. This was a busy graduation weekend and the staff was there to answer any questions. Had a good time.

Just wanted to comment that the staff at this hotel was exceptional. Everyone was friendly, everyone inquired about our stay and offered any help. Really nice to feel like our family was welcome. Thank you!

Large rooms, very friendly and helpful staff. Convenient shuttle--takes you to campus, airport, etc and will pick you up and bring back too. My United pilots and crew stayed here. We all took the shuttle together--a guarantee that I would not miss my flight :) Coffee and light snacks 24 hours, free breakfast in the morning with yoghurt, eggs, waffle, sausage, more. Internet was slow but adequate. Price seems high but all the places in Ithaca are high. Shopping plaza adjacent with mid- and upper-scale restaurants plus grocery store. Close to campus.

Was convenient to Cornell and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel looks a little run down but is good for a one night stay when visiting Cornell.

My daughter was visiting college and we stayed here because it was close to campus. Great breakfast and shuttle to campus. Nice and friendly staff. The only thing missing was an indoor pool.
