Morris Island Vacation Packages

Check-in process was frustrating. Parking is limited. There was trash in my room left from a previous guest. They advertise a beach shuttle but make sure if you’re not getting picked up at a specific time that you call early, they don’t always answer the phone or check their voicemail. Then when the front desk employee finally picked up the phone, she said another couple had just called and she’d pick me up next, and while I was still talking she hung up on me so I ended up just walking back. My last day there, another employee tried to make me squeeze onto the shuttle with another couple, I said everyone else has made us ride separately and I don’t mind waiting, she said ok, but then when she got back she said she had to hand wash a huge stack of dishes before we left?! The beach chair they gave me was dirty and the pillow had black mold growing on it. The breakfast was ok but it starts late at 0800. Happy hour includes things like Natural Light beer. It’s a bit dingy, grimy, and rundown; my bathroom shelf was totally falling off the wall. There’s like no counter space either. There was a lot of accumulated filth around the door etc. (pics). The alarm clock just wasn’t plugged in which was weird and annoying, why even leave it there with no accessible plug? They use the super cheap, single-use motel toiletries so I’d bring your own. You can hear everything in the hallways and people just stood outside my room talking. I would not stay here again or recommend staying here.

Hotel was clean and the staff were decent. The lobby staff were good but everyone else lacked. Paid $58 for parking and they wouldn’t even grab our bags or do anything but park your car. Plus $38 for the resort fee which they gave you a sheet of paper to explain 4 or 5 things you get with high speed WiFi being one of them which it was not high speed. People working the coffee bar were in terrible moods and bartenders by the pool were hard to find. When you finally got up to get a drink yourself, you find them all huddled behind the bar inside. Room was tiny for the price and then you add $100 per day in fees and this place is a terrible value. I will not stay here again. Pool was tiny and not enough chairs for how many rooms they have. You have to get out there by 8am to have a chance. There are so many better options in this town.

The location of this hotel is excellent and one of its biggest strengths. It is very centrally located, making it easy to walk to restaurants, shops, and attractions without needing a car. However parking is very expensive. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the rooms are thoughtfully designed with a modern, stylish aesthetic. The café, restaurant, and common areas are equally stunning and create a welcoming atmosphere throughout the property. I especially appreciated the water, coffee, and ice stations on each floor, which were always clean, well-stocked, and a very thoughtful touch for guests. That said, there were a couple of drawbacks to our stay. None of the room windows open, which made the space feel a bit stuffy, and unfortunately our room had a noticeable moldy smell that never fully went away during our visit. Overall, this is a beautiful hotel in a fantastic location with great amenities and attention to detail. Addressing the air quality and odor issues would make the experience even better.

The pool is everything! The staff is so kind. The interior is gorgeous. You have bikes available and can cycle around the city. But it is centrally located so easy to walk around as well. I had the best facial I have ever had in my life and you have to treat yourself to the energy balls they make from scratch. Quite delicious! I only had unique and delicious food from the pool and restaurant. A Mediterranean flare which was very unique. 5 stars!!!
