Little Gem in Holbox

Great location centrally located near restaurants and blocks from the beach. Difficult to find check in as it was in the restaurant Olivers below the actual rooms. Staff wasn't fully bilingual so be prepared and patient.

Great location next to the plaza. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I could not get a wifi signal in my room, the AC did not work, and it takes some finesse with the key to open the door. Other than that it was a good place to spend a few days during the winter, an enjoy Holbox.

Simple accommodation, close to everything

Hotel is above a burger restaurant. The photographs didn't show that. The stairs are high steps and there is a slippy area at the bottom. Room was clean and beds comfortable. A few broken things like the safe and lights but overall those things didn't matter as the a/c was good and you are staying on the main square and very close to the beach.

Horrible hotel!

Don’t stay here! The first night at check in, our room was not available so they manager got us a room at another hotel that was 3 blocks away! No apologies by staff. Second day we got our room, but the AC did not work. I went to complain to front desk (8pm) and they sent someone to go check it out. Around 8 am the owner showed up in our room and placed his hand on the AC unit and stated “the air is cold, what are you complaining about?” Rudeness!!! They did not move us from the room, they did not fix the Ac! We were sweating all nights what a horrible nightmare! Don’t waste your money here, go elsewhere!!!!! Never again! F-

Busy town center location

While Hotel Casa Lupita sat directly on the main square in Holbox, we found almost immediately that was not where we wanted to be. The rooms are not particularly charming and are located above a restaurant and shops. The area is loud, so finding peace at the end of the day is near impossible. We didn't find the room to be particularly dirty, it was simple and basic. The shower head pours water out of a shell that after you turn the water heater on for 15 minutes dumps water onto your head like a water hose. For the money I suppose this place isn't awful, but it's definitely not the Holbox experience we were looking for.

Perfect 3 star hotel!

Location is awesome, center of town, 30 seconds to plaza.Style, nice Mexican architecture, white and yellow with plants, and a nice patio. Very comfortable, Store, right next to hotel to buy water, beer, juice..shampoo. Staff very nice too. The hotel is exactly how it is described, actually prettier when you see it. If you want a 5 star resort, not for you. If you like a very clean, Mexican style hotel, where you can walk everywhere, this is it!

Nice little hotel right on main square. We were upsatairs in the back so it was very quiet. Affordable and especially grwatcwithavtoddler since everything you need is just downstairs. 2 minute walk to beach. Book it!

Nice hotel newly renovated hacienda nicely done with modern touch but still looks old nice pool garden kinda close to center of town buses or taxi close by William was in charge he told where to go places to eat very helpful

Holbox trip

Basic hotel in centre of town. Close to beach. To ger around it recommended to take the golf cart taxis which are very reasonable. Roads are made of sand and when it rains there are lots of puddles that take 3 days to dry out. Walking the streets is difficult. Best to walk on the beach. Still seaweed. Very laid back island. It was a nice experience.
