This hotel is very special. The front part of the hotel is a historic mansion which is gorgeous. The back part is a modern tower with an art gallery. Lots of attention to detail. Very comfortable. Luxury without being pretentious. We had a wonderful stay.

The hotel is beautiful and the art is great. Our room was spacious and quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. Staff was very kind and the concierge remembered our name and greeted us kindly. Just a couple small things - the rug in our room was stained quite badly. Not like, a little splotch, but very large dark stains all over it. The wood floors are nice enough they could have just pulled the rug up if they didn’t have another. The other thing is the staff is very thoughtful, but sometimes maybe too much? We had the Do Not Disturb on, and a few different times they knocked anyway. It was always for something kind like asking if we needed anything or on Christmas to deliver a gift pastry from The hotel, but if we have the sign on, that means we don’t want to be disturbed at all (unless it’s an emergency). But overall we liked it and would stay again.

An amazing stay! Super attentive staff all around - from the reception desk, to the restaurant staff, to housekeeping. Really a beautiful and convenient place to stay. All of my requests were met and all expectations exceeded. The general taste level of the property (artwork, decor, furninshings) are above and beyond.
