We are extremely disappointed and frustrated with our stay. From the very first day we arrived, we informed the front desk that we did not receive the ocean view room we had originally booked and paid extra for. The view was clearly obstructed by a building. The gentleman at the front desk even acknowledged this and admitted that the view was obstructed and not what we had requested. However, he told us there was nothing he could do. This is completely unacceptable. We stayed for three weeks and specifically paid a premium for an ocean view room. The so-called ocean view was heavily blocked, making the upgrade pointless. If a view is obstructed, it should not be sold as an ocean view at a higher price. To make matters worse, our room was located directly above the garbage disposal area. Every morning at 6:15 a.m., the garbage truck would arrive and wake us up. The noise was extremely loud, and there was also a strong unpleasant smell. This happened daily during our entire three-week stay. Had we been placed on a higher floor as originally booked, we would not have had this issue. We came here to relax. Instead, we were woken up every morning and forced to deal with noise and odors. Despite raising our concerns immediately upon arrival, nothing was done. We were not offered a room change, nor any compensation. For the price we were charged, this experience was far below expectations. Considering the premium rate and the length of our stay, this is not even worth one star.

No parking, but I believe that is a Waikiki issue. The wanted us to pay $60/night for valet services. Room was okay. Bed was comfortable, but we noticed a lingering smell majority of our stay… almost like old water/water mold. Staff was okay.
