This spot has so much potential but misses the mark. Setting is amazing and hosts are responsive but it feels very “managed” and not very intimate which is one of the reasons I love VRBO. We were really looking forward to the screened in porch but it was absolutely unusable because the cats have taken over and it did not appear any attempts at cleaning it to prepare for guests had occurred so we could not use it. There was a significant ant problem in the kitchen they were in the sink and on the countertop. There are signs taped up everywhere on the doors and walls about “rules” and the signs on the doors with security cameras made us wonder about the safety being so far in the country. The hammock was also unusable due to sticks and dirt so it didn’t feel like they prepared for our visit. The cats were always trying to get in and crying at the doors, jumping in the car if we left any windows open. And I love cats but . . . This is a wonderful property if they were more aware of the guest experience.
