The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean, but the parking lot was very dark - which made me feel a little unsafe about transporting items out of the car and into the room when I arrived at 7:30 pm. The room has been updated, but the wood floor is already is bad shape and the tub needs to be refinished. On the other hand, the breakfast was very good for a motel’s hot breakfast.

The room was more than neglected, it was awful. There were also gaps in the door frame that would allow bugs in. When I opened the door in the morning a mouse/rat ran by. The microwave and refrigerator were in the bathroom area!

For a budget hotel this one is very well run! Previously on this same trip I stayed at another hotel chain in Holbrook that was terrible. On my return I decided to choose the Econo Lodge for just a few more dollars, hoping for the best. I was extremely pleased! For the few dollars difference the stay was 10 times better.
