The cabin was a great stay for Dad's weekend. We had everything we needed and more! The host was very nice and even made us cookies! The hammocks were great, the boys fell asleep for about an hour in them. I didn't get to write in the guest book, but I would definitely stay here again.

Super relaxing stay! We were greeted by a deer as soon as we arrived and turkey walking by the next morning. Sitting on the front porch by day and around the campfire by night was enjoyable. The beds were super comfy and Lisa was quick to respond to any questions. Thank you for the hospitality!!

Wonderful stay!

Only stayed as a couple but this place could easily accommodate a family! It was clean and beyond comfortable! Two great bathrooms and two comfortable sitting areas to watch TV. Quiet and private! Host left us cookies upon arrival, which were delicious by the way. And honestly, one of my favorite touches was her instruction not to clean upon leaving because we were on vacation. That was awesome! Thank you so much for having us!

This cabin was very nice and clean. The property grounds was beautiful and was nice to walk the small trauls. Very quite place to relax and enjoy the scenery. Would definitely stay here again.

Cozy Home Away From Home

This property is a FANTASTIC find. We needed a home base because we took my husband’s parents to OU Homecoming and to visit the family’s newest bobcat. It’s difficult not to gush about this property. When we arrived there were fresh and yummy cookies to greet us! They had everything we could have needed— spices, shower supplies, detergent & more. The basement was awesome with comfy furniture, big TV for the OSU game & video games for the kids. (We unexpectedly had 2 teenagers because they didn’t want to leave!) I can’t recommend this property more. It was beautiful with deer & wildlife everywhere. It is the best VRBO we have ever reserved and we have enjoyed at least 20 properties. Thank you!

Peaceful Retreat

We were in the area for college orientation at Ohio University for our daughter. This property provided our family with peace and comfort after a busy and emotional day to reflect and process. The cabin and grounds are well taken care of and very clean. The layout allows for everyone to enjoy each other’s company without feeling like you are on top of each other. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. The location was great and very easy to get to campus. Truly a haven.

Cabin review

Overall very nice place, only frustration was not being able to use the fireplace. Wish I would have known that prior to booking. One of my favorite things about renting a cabin in the woods is to have a fire going in the fireplace.

Everything we wanted and more

We were beyond pleased with our stay. Lisa was a fantastic host and had added so many nice touches to this cabin to make our stay perfect. We grilled steaks on the grill, took a walk along the paths, watched the deer graze while sitting on the front porch at dusk, and roasted marshmallows at the fire pit outside. You can have Uber Eats deliver marshmallows, btw, if you forget them. The college is pretty close, so lots of good food options nearby. The bed was comfy. Fooseball table and games were a nice touch. Lisa was available if we needed her. It was an overall amazing stay and we plan to come back.
