This is by far the worst Motel 6 I've stayed at. I checked in about midnight, got to the hotel, was checked in by a young man. Keys didn't work, he had to walk up to the room and open the door for us, the door had no lock on it (unsafe). The bed sheets had cigarette holes on it, sheets were also riddled with stains, a dark red color, mattress cover was also dirty and oily. Bathroom was nasty and it smelled like dog piss in the room. The front desk attendant let us in the room and saw this, he said nothing. Almost like this was the norm. I was in disbelief how nasty it was. I left and did not return. Requested a refund. I would sleep in the car before laying my head at this place. Highly suggest you go elsewhere if you are able.

The bedding was stained. The toilet paper holder was broken. Mold in tub and sink. I asked for non-smoking and ended up with someone next to us smoking on her door step. We couldn't get the tv to work and someone came and got it working, which was the only good thing. We later dicovered the remote wouldn't turn it off and it had to be unplugged.

We have stayed in many hotels across our country and in Europe. We came in later in the day and had to meet someone in Harrisburg. When I got back to the room I was so tired and almost cried when I realized just how awful the room was. I took a series of pictures that I will gladly share with you. I'm thinking of putting them online. The room stank of cigarettes even though it was supposed to be nonsmoking, one of the pillows didn't have a pillow case on it, there were stains on both bedspreads, in the bathroom the ceiling above the tub was flaking in large circular spots and falling into the tub, we had ONE washrag, one towel and two hand towels, the smoke detector cover was missing and wires were hanging down from it ....... therefore there was no functioning detector which I'm sure is a safety violation. I could go on. We slept in our clothes with our jackets as the "blanket". I would NEVER recommend Motel 6 to anyone. As a national chain you should be embarrassed. I'm sorry but but I'm being completely honest. I have the pictures on my phone to prove it !!!!

Toilet did not flush completely until 4 or 5 flushes. Broken furniture, dirty refrigerator and bathroom was in very poor shape. No coffee maker and ons towel for 4 people,

The Clean Black Mole Room

It was NOT so amazing there was black mole on the walls and the price was too high. Although, there was only one roach I spotted on the wall, which was pleasantly surprising to me!! Cuz I HATE roaches!!! It was some what clean. But the only bad part was all this black mole on the bottom walls and the phone doesn't work!!

You don't even get what you pay for...

I understand that you get what you pay for. On a solo trip, I needed a place to get a night of sleep. I'm not expecting any amenities at any Motel 6. While I did manage to sleep, it was not with ANY comfort. The first room I was given had a collapsing bathroom ceiling and cigarette burns in the yellowish bedspread of the non-smoking room. I requested a new room and was accommodated (after I finally rang the night-service bell at 3pm because the employees were in the back room with the door closed.) The new room had a bright white bedspread. In the bathroom, I could see where the same ceiling issue from the other room had been repaired. The wall-mounted towel rack was removed from the wall and underneath the vanity area. After a quick, warm shower, I discovered one of the towels had a blood stain. The bed frame is cheap metal that groans when you move. Unfortunately, even at an ultra-low price, I overpaid for these accommodations.
