I had bad experience because I forgot my jacket in the room I was sleeping and then my husband call and let them know I left my jacket in the room and then they said they will check and call him back and they never call back, so that mean someone of the services or whatever take it my jacket.

I chose this place based on the reviews, so far it was a wise choice. I love Tikal Futura hotel, the staffs here are courteous and professional, the foods are delicious. Hibiscus restaurant at the hotel does not disappoint at all.The rooms are spacious and cleaned, except they do not come with mini fridge and microwave.Not sure if it applies to the all rooms, but I know for sure my friend's room and I, did not have them. Overall, everything was perfect. I will definitely return next year and will recommend this place to anyone visiting Guatemala city.

Overall ok stay - check your reservation carefully before completing - they charged me for extra person for a king suite. Room was causing a leak in the kitchen so they moved us mid stay. No compensation.

We have stayed here previously, this time we had a tub in the bathroom, it needs to be replaced or upgraded to a shower. Lobby is beautiful, room, not so, brown grouts, no toiletries. We expected better. Staffing very helpful.
