I had booked a cosy double room and also indicated a large double bed. Upon check in, this was otherwise and requested not granted when I contact the hotel helpdesk. Disappointment

Hotel needs a make over

The only thing I could praise about this hotel, is the staffs are patient, well manner, friendly and helpful. Other than that nothing is up to expectation. I was first check into room 514, upon entering the room is filled with cigarettes smoke then upgraded to a so called suite room 408 which is old and ruin. Terrible experience around 10.30pm I could hear chairs and tables moving and dropping marble until around 1.30am, I couldnt bear it anymore and complaint to the receptionist and asked is there a renovation going on and I was told 3rd floor is the restaurant whereby there are cleaning up and preparing for the next day breakfast. The noise was somehow not so loud, until around 3am. I requested for a change of room again, and I was given Room 604. Not noisy, room is okay but not the toilet which is a bit run down, water temperature cannot be control either too hot or too cold. Even the door at one time after closing from outside still can open. Luckly I checked before walking off. If I am given a complimentary stays on my next visit, I will reject without second taught.

Upon arrival, we need to carry our luggage up on a flight of stairs & was very tiring upon checking out. Out of the 8 nights staying in the same hotel/room, we noticed that there were 2 days where the bathroom towels had cigarettes smell on it. The breakfast place on the 16th floor has limited seats & are always full of their hotel staff, breakfast spread are simple but enough to fill your stomach. As this is not an International hotel, we are unable to use Whatsapp even with our portable Wi-Fi. The plus points are their rooms are big enough & there are many local restaurants/supermarket within walking distance.

terrible hotel !

when check in i was told for the price i would be staying on lower floor which would be noisy because eating streets will not closed till 4 AM, (which is a lie ! to get me pay extra $50 ! because i could not sleep, looking out of window there were no one on the streets, also because of so hot weather no one wandering around) so the girl asked me to pay extra $50 to stay on higher floor, i did pay extra to upgrade ! disaster stay ! could not sleep till 5 am because the air conditioner only blow air, temperature stayed at 26 degrees all night, not only that the air conditioner was so noisy vibrating wall, humming noises seem like a truck inside the room, then came next problems, mosquitoes! could not sleep so watched tv, after a few minutes TV only could see half screen, bathroom shampoo bottle block, toilet not completely clean, terrible experience could not sleep whole night till day light ! nearby street are crowded and dirty not comfortable to walk around. i should get my money back ! when complaint st check out, they offered to change to different room for me !??????? forget about it !
