The front desk clerk was absolutely rude and lied to me. She told me that I hadn't "signed up" for housekeeping and I had declined that on my checkin papers. Then she told me that she asked me when we checked in and I declined, which she also had not asked. I filled out the checkin forms online and knew that I had not declined any such thing. When I asked to see those checkin in papers I was then told that those services were only avaliable if you stayed 2 or more night, which we were staying 2 nights, and then told me that I didn't get those services because I had booked my room through a 3rd party (Expedia) and not directly through them. This used to be my favorite place to stay while visiting Great Falls. I will NEVER stay here again. And, the bathrooms were disgusting. Dirt and filth in every corner. I took pictures to prove it. The evening before check out, I got an text message from said property wanting me to do my own checkout online as well. Included in this text was a link to "Tip the staff"???? For me doing all of the checkin paperwork online, being provided NO housekeeping at all, being placed on hold for 15 minutes when calling the front desk to request clean towels (which were never delivered).....AND then I was supposed to do my own checkout, too????AND TIP THE STAFF?????Incredible! I don't mind tipping, and I tip well for a job well done. So, I tipped myself a pretty generous amount and I will find somewhere else to stay when I next visit Great Falls.
