The outside was a dump. The elevator and walkways to the room doors was dumpy. The inside of the room- they are trying! New furniture, sheets were clean, but it was unfinished - things still had patches exposed. (but they are trying. )

This is a nice place. Several fast food and good restaurants literally in the same block. Also located at the A17 and I 40. Full breakfast with sausage and eggs. Best deal in town!

The rooms are quiet and the building appears to be very safe and in a good location. There are plenty of options for dining withing a couple of blocks. Because of road construction, the only way you can cross the street is to backtrack to the nearest traffic light and cross in two directions in order to simply cross the street. (lots of traffic and it is a wide road so it is safest to use the crosswalk) Breakfast was fine (hot and cold options) with generous hours (6 am - 10 am)! It appears many of the rooms are in the process of being updated. Overall, it was a good stay in a convenient location to NAU, shops and restaurants.

The carpet in the room hasn’t been cleaned. We opened the microwave to use it and the odor emanating was awful. The entire property is old and run down.

it is very dated,litter around the property and walkways to the rooms are grease stained and filthy.There is a broken down vehicle in lot.Upon arrival the clerk said the room we were in would be interrupted for about 45 minutes for a lock change. He said if that was a concern they had 1 room that was available that that the locked was already switched out so we took that. Did not understand why he didn’t offer that in the first place.Come to find out the following day, we were locked out of the room because the lock had not been switched out.That also meant we had strangers in our room and we weren’t made aware.The room had blood stains on the wall,a huge piece of the tub where the enamel was missing,stained sheets,sticky handle on outside door that I washed,and water stained bathroom walls with a touch of mildew. Not to mention this was the smallest room I had ever seen. Perhaps this is one that typically isn’t rented, I’m not sure. The 24 hour coffee is old cold coffee that sits all day after breakfast. Not fresh and no cookies as on stated on website at any point in the day. The staff NEVER smiles and act like you are intruding if you need something. I had asked if there was daily housekeeping, she said yes,but when we came back to the room they never did our room. I asked for new towels then and no apologies or anything. The walls are paper thin and the person above was lifting weights ( we think) for about 6 hours.Beds comfy,shower good. Worst experience though.Dont stay

I tried to change the date on a visit three months before the stay. Instead, they insisted that any change would result in a customer losing his entire deposit. It is a ridiculous thing to extend a "no-cancellation or change" policy that far back.

Overall good facility for the price. Everything was clean, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. Close to NAU, shopping and a variety of dining options. Easy access from the interstate. Our room had a couple of minor maintenance issues (which we provided to the staff) and the room could use an update.
