Overall: "pretty good, some notables need improved"
Location is very good since central relative to Gatlinburg, Dollywood, and Great Smokey Natl Park. Deck and views are great, very nice sense of nature around rather than brand new rental cabins jammed next to each other (which is fairly common in the area). The pool itself is great but totally false advertising that it was a short walk from the house. Like pulling teeth getting the actual pool location from host, and in actuality it turns out to be a 37 minute walk according to Google Map. Totally impractical for intended quick trips there with kids on foot. Also misrepresented sleeping capacity - states a "twin fold-down sofa." Those words mean twin size sleeper sofa to most people but actually what is present is two sofas that have sections that partly recline like an easy chair. Its either sloppy choice of words or implying something there isn't. The dining table is nice-sized; plenty of room for everyone, plus generally good kitchen layout. Nice new carpeting. Unfortunately there is a mouse presence that needs attention. Its just not cool to find mouse poop in the silverware tray and on the counter. Fact that toaster is missing its crumb tray certainly can't help the mouse problem. Did not appreciate being told there was something about the water in the hot tub that wasn't right that the cleaners couldn't do and we should do. Just silly to pass of a responsiblity like that onto guests. Word limit prevents further details
