The bed was extremely uncomfortable—essentially like sleeping directly on a box spring. We couldn’t sleep at all the first night. By the second night, we had to stack four mattress toppers provided by the hotel just to get some rest. It was honestly one of the worst sleeping experiences I’ve ever had. On top of that, the mattress was wrapped in plastic, which made it uncomfortably hot throughout the night. While the staff was friendly and very helpful, the poor quality of the bed overshadowed everything else. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless the mattresses are updated.

We checked in on Tuesday evening and noticed the water didn’t get hot at the sink. We were tired and hoped it was a fluke and that it would be better in the morning. Wednesday morning, the first shower was barely warm and the second shower was cold. Notified the front desk. Wednesday evening had warm water at the sink. Thursday morning, first shower was almost hot; second shower was warm. Friday morning both showers were ice cold. Mentioned it to maintenance, who was next door working on that room’s hot water situation as well. Notified front desk again. Received a call from the general manager on Friday afternoon that the shower valve had exploded and flooded our room. It was noted that a mesh bag of laundry that was on the closet floor was wet but that nothing else seemed to be affected. Manager offered to send our laundry out to be done for us, but as we were checking out the next day and I am very particular about my laundry, I declined. He sad that they would be giving us a new room, and that our parking and two nights of our four night stay would be comped. When we returned to our room, our clothes were in fact SOAKED. We hung them to dry in the new room but it made no difference, they were that wet. The outside of a small suitcase was damp, but otherwise everything seemed fine. New room was odd but comfortable. It had clearly been redone recently. Hot showers finally Saturday morning! Received 2 nights discount but no parking discount. Not likely to return.

I am very disappointed with Anaheim Marriott Suites. I made reservations for my daughter and her family for a March stay. They were attending my mother's funeral that weekend, and unfortunately, I got the days wrong and had them checking in on Friday, 03/7/2025 instead of Thursday, 03/06/2025. I called the hotel and was told that I could not get a refund since it was made using a third party (Expedia) and that I should call Expedia to see about getting a refund. I called Expedia and was told that there were no available rooms for Thursday, 03/06/2025 and that I could not get a refund because the hotel said it didn't offer refund, which is totally contrary to what the hotel said. I called back Anaheim Marriott Suites and told them what Expedia said. They said that they did have availability for Thursday, 03/06/2025, and again, confirmed they could not give me a refund since I went through Expedia. I ended up getting a room at another hotel, and sucking up the one night stay. This will definitely be the last time I use Expedia for any travel arrangement and I will definitely pass it on to my family and friends my this really terrible experience during a time of grieve.

If you value your money, go else where. Lobby looks great. Rooms are dirty and smelly. Elevator is ran down felt like it was gonna stop any time. Worst experience ever, checked out and went elsewhere. Wasted $550 on rooms I couldn’t even sleep in.

Things started ok. Unpacked everything Put things away, went to get food for the kids not even 10 minutes go by when my teenager calls me in panic, states the toilet won’t stop running and it’s flowing everywhere, he told me he had already called facilities to notify them and to send someone up yesterday, I turn around getting one of 3 meals (family of 6 so everyone wants something different) I get there and as I walk in the lobby is packed, I cut through and say hey my room is flooding with black water is someone up there yet? They say someone should be there, I get up there and I get there before the hotel engineers, I ask my family to wait in the hallway and sit on the floor and hang tight I run in there shut the valve off and low and behold they arrive finally. My teenagers stuff is wet luckily we had everything packed but just having my kids out in the hallway eating some pizza on the floor as hotel stayers pass by looking was awful and embarrassing. The staff couldn’t even rush up there and move us to another room I had to go down and make a fuss. Plumbing is poor in this building just know that. Staff ehh. The next day I forgot to pick up my cooler box to keep my cooler bag cold in the old room and was told you can’t just wait 7 minutes like yo, really. The overall experience of this whole situation….
